Volcano Illiniza – 2 Day Expedition Description

Located between Pichincha and Cotopaxi provinces, the Illinizas are twin volcanic peaks that offer a variety of difficulty suitable for all levels of mountain climber.

North Illiniza stands at 5126 meters (16818 feet) and is relatively simple to scale. Expert climbers will be excited for the technical and steep climb to the summit of South Illiniza, at 5305 meters (17405 feet).
