Volunteers for our Perhentian Turtle Project will be assisting our team in their daily tasks such as doing kayak surveys i.e kayaking at specific spots and free dive upon spotting a turtle to take photo ID of it, go on night patrols at the nesting beach we protect to protect mama turtles laying its eggs and to deter poachers from stealing turtle eggs, participate in educational and awareness talks held by the team at our stakeholders' site to educate locals and tourists alike about sea turtles conservation and you will also help in analyzing the photo IDs taken and updating our turtle database.

2026 Dates

- Every Monday from 6 April 2026 to 21 September 2026

- Arrivals on Mondays, departures on Sundays

- You may stay for as many weeks as you like but 3 weeks is recommended to fully experience and contribute to the project.

 *This program is only available for participants age 16 years and above.

*Parental consent is needed for volunteers age 16 & 17 years old.

**We can only host up to 8 volunteers per week. Please pick your start date and join the waitlist in order for us to check the availability.
