Sink into the solitude and wild of the Eagle Cap Wilderness. We'll spend the next 3 days slowly making our way through the Wallowa Mountains, breaking camp every morning and setting up camp in the late afternoon to ensure time to relax and explore.
Total Hike distances from Sept 3-7:
32 miles, 7200'
After your last delicious camp meal and bottomless coffee, pack up your gear and start the hike to our exit 32 miles across the Wallowas from where we started. While it's tempting to put your head down and hustle (like a horse to the barn), even your last day is a chance to deepen your experience in the wild and enjoy the stroll back to civilization.
Typically, groups reach the trailhead between 1-4PM, please plan accommodations & travel plans accordingly.
We will have arranged a shuttle so that your cars are waiting at the trailhead.
Pine Fest begins on 9/8, so grab a shower, relax, and finish the trip with great music and good vibes.
Don't forget to pick up commemorative Go Wild and GHCC swag before departing.
