Final Stop- Algarve, town of Sagres

Our final stop brings us to the wild beauty of Sagres, a peaceful coastal town at the edge of the Algarve. Here, we’ll stay at a stunning boutique hotel perched above the sea, offering modern comfort, sweeping ocean views, and direct access to nearby beaches and trails. Sagres is known not only for its raw natural beauty, but also for its rich history—home to the famous Sagres Fortress, the world’s first nautical school, and Cape St. Vicente, where Europe’s largest lighthouse watches over the cliffs. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy the region’s renowned cuisine, especially its fresh, locally caught fish. To help you make the most of your stay, our hotel provides a curated guide—Living Sagres by memmo—featuring the best local spots for food, culture, and outdoor adventure.

During our four nights here, you’ll have the freedom to explore the town, enjoy seaside dining, or simply relax and restore. Meals outside of breakfast, along with alcohol, are not included, giving you the flexibility to discover local restaurants and create your own experience each day. Our hotel’s curated guide—offers insider recommendations for the best spots to eat, drink, and adventure.

Relaxation in the Algarves

After days of adventure and meaningful movement along the Portuguese Coastal Camino, we head south to Sagres, where the pace slows and the horizon opens wide. Nestled on the edge of the Algarve coast, Memmo Baleeira offers the perfect blend of modern comfort, stunning ocean views, and relaxed coastal charm.

Over these final four nights, you’ll settle into a beautiful seaside hotel designed for rest, renewal, and connection. Think: morning yoga overlooking the cliffs, fresh sea air, dips in the saltwater pool, and free time to explore local beaches, historic sites, or simply unwind at the spa.

Sagres is known for its raw, untamed beauty, delicious seafood, and rich maritime history—including the iconic Sagres Fortress and Cape St. Vicente, home to one of Europe’s largest lighthouses.

This final chapter of the journey is all about integration—time to reflect, breathe deeply, and enjoy the freedom of the coast before returning home.
