We will deliver you to your hotel in Bari and you can have the opportunity to explore this beautiful seaside town.
Our first private guided tour of the historical center including the Arco Basso where the ladies make the fresh orecchiette all day, the famous Saint Nicolas Church and the seaside fish market.
We will enjoy our first dinner together.
We go to the cave town of Matera and have a guided tour of the Sassi and then you will have the afternoon to wander this beautiful and haunting hilltop village
These next 2 days are spent learning to cook the dishes of Salento, Puglia. We will also learn the traditional dance, the Tarantella! We will learn about the history of the dance followed by a dance lesson!
Our final day together, we will spend the day outside-learning about the magical Cava Bauxite and the treasures of the land!
This is our last day together so we will meet for our final dinner together!
After checkout we will bring you to the Bari or Brindisi Airport.

Join us in Mola di Bari for a 2 days cooking immersion with Rita Guastamacchia!
In the morning we depart Lecce to spend the next 2 nights at Masseria in Mola di Bari.
We will deposit our bags into our rooms and then we waste no time and into the kitchen we go!
We will have our first cooking class learning traditional vegetable & fish/seafood forward typical Pugliese dishes,
In the afternoon after a brief siesta, will go to the fish market that is just a few miles away and pick out our fish/seafood that for our afternoon class.
Dinner will be what we prepared throughout the day.
In the morning after breakfast, we will learn to make fresh mozzarella, burrata and ricotta!
In the afternoon we go to visit the terracotta potter Antonio Sammarelli. This is where Rita buys her dishes and you will want to buy a dish or two to bring the taste of Puglia home with you.
In the afternoon we will have a our final cooking class learning to make the famous Pugliese Ragu and other local specialty dishes.
Dinner will be what we have learned to prepare.
After dinner, you can begin to pack as we will be departing for the airport/train station after breakfast
After breakfast our driver will scoop you up and bring you to the Bari Central Train Station or the Bari Airport.
