Veronica and Brook met three decades ago performing in the off Broadway hit show De la Guarda, New York City. This forged a sisterhood and muiltfaceted partnership in the creative arts. Now the two are coming together in a another beautiful collaboration bringing their life experience and passions to you in this Mexico retreat
VERONICA DeSoyza is a master yoga teacher and teacher trainer with over 20 years of experience. She specializes in Vinyasa, Kundalini Kriya, and Aerial Yoga.
Her classes weave in Mudra, mantra, and breath work, as well as playful, flowing, and vigorous asana practice, providing her students with a fulfilling yoga experience.
Veronica has toured the globe as a professional ballerina, modern dancer, singer, and aerialist. She performed in the hit NY show DeLaGuarda, and sang, danced and flew, on the Broadway stage.
Veronica’s background has provided her with the tools to create fun explorative space. She has hosted several workshops incorporating movement research, open source vocal work, and breath work as a way of exploring deep self expression and play. Veronica believes that this is the key to inner peace and deeply felt wisdom and love.
BROOK Notary is one of NYC’s most renowned instructors, specializing in the Pilates Method. She has had the privilege of teaching Pilates for the past 28 years. Certified by celebrity teacher Rael Isacowitz with continued training from master teacher Kathy Grant, Brook can share knowledge she has gained from the best.
As a professional choreographer, aerialist, dancer, and athlete, Brook understands the body, it’s abilities, and it’s limitations from experience. She was a cast member of the hit aerial Off- Broadway show, De La Gurada, was a nationally ranked competitive rhythmic gymnast, toured the US as an acrobat with Cirque, choreographed for high profile music artists such as Usher, and received her MFA on full scholarship at Tisch School of the Arts.
This diverse background informs her nurturing yet “tough love” athletic approach that has created extraordinary results in her clients, many of whom have been with her for over 12 years. Brook’s clients come to her with issues ranging from rehabilitation, weight loss, heart conditions, diabetes, MS, depression, strengthening goals, and overall body maintenance needs. What excites Brook most, is how different every body is. Brook’s clients include everyone from pro athletes and high profile celebrities, to weekend warriors and silver sneakers, making her well versed in every client’s needs. “It is a true joy for me to make discoveries and change with every client inspiring wellness no matter what age or skill level.”

Travel day! Welcome to your home for the next 4 days! Settle in, get cozy and unwind in a restorative stretch & sound bath. After dinner we will watch the sunset on the beach and share our intensions for our time together at WILD HEART.
Start your day with fresh fruit and organic Coffee. Enter your first Vinyasa flow yoga class with Veronica. Afterwards, relax and get to know each other. Optional trip to town or curl up with a book or journal on the beach. Later, a somatic movement exploration class with Brook that takes you on a journey of your internal spaciousness.
Start your day with journaling on the beach. Morning Classical Pilates mat class with Brook. Mid day hike to a mud beach. Slather & baste in Mother Earth. Evening vocal resonance ceremony.
Yoga Flow with Veronica. Take time to journal, walk, rest, or have a massage. One of the hardest things for women to do is ask for support. this workshop with focus on aiding everyone in feeling seen, held and supported. This will be followed by an ecstatic dance party.
Fusion of pilates, stretch, strength and yoga. A guided Temescal journey. Movement exploration -called BE THE OCTOPUS. The exercise teaches you to listen without reacting. The evening will end with a Bonfire.
Rise on your last day to meet the group on the beach for a morning Kriya Yogo and Kirtan. Final share before breakfast. Vans will be waiting to take you to the airport.
