Come Alive in the Wild

Four days to step into something extraordinary.

Surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs, flowing water, and vast desert sky, Wild Serenity: Zion is an unforgettable immersion in yoga, meditation, adventure, and the restorative beauty of nature.

For four days and three nights, we'll make our private home at Nama-Stay in Springdale, just minutes from Zion National Park. Our days will unfold with morning yoga and meditation, extraordinary landscapes, beautiful chef-prepared meals, and spacious afternoons and evenings for connection, restoration, and rest.

One day, we'll explore Zion together on a guided experience created especially for our retreat. Another day, the adventure is yours to choose—from canyoneering or an e-bike ride to hiking, exploring Springdale, or simply slowing down.

Throughout our time together, we'll weave yoga, meditation, breathwork, Fascia Flow, restorative practice, and immersive sound baths into the natural rhythm of our days.

There will be adventure. There will be stillness. There will be laughter, connection, incredible food, and time simply to take it all in.

Come alive in the wild.

The Wild Serenity Experience

The Wild Serenity Experience image

My intention with Wild Serenity Retreats is simple: to invite you to the family reunion you wish you were having.

A gathering of awesome humans who come together to rediscover the awe of nature, deepen their yoga and spiritual practice, share meaningful experiences, laugh a lot, and remember not to take themselves too seriously.

And to come away with a little potent medicine: a renewed sense of wholeness, the courage to be hopeful, and a deeper appreciation for the simple magic of being present, together.

FAQ'S

1. Who is Wild Serenity: Zion for?

Wild Serenity is for people who love yoga—or are curious to explore it more deeply—and feel inspired by nature, adventure, and meaningful connection. It's for those who want to move, breathe, explore, and step outside their everyday routines. People who appreciate a beautiful meal around a shared table, an unexpected adventure, a great conversation, and plenty of laughter along the way.

You don't need to be an expert yogi or a hardcore adventurer. Just bring your curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to participate.

Come for the yoga. Come for Zion. Come ready to feel alive.

2. What is Wild Serenity Yoga Flow?

Move like you love your body.

Wild Serenity Yoga Flow is Alex's signature approach to practice—an evolving blend of breathwork, mindful alignment, flowing movement, and fascia-opening techniques.

Rather than moving simply to achieve a pose, the practice invites you to move with curiosity and awareness—building strength and mobility while creating more space and freedom in your body.

Each practice is shaped by the energy of the day and the people in the room.

3. What level of yoga experience do I need?

Wild Serenity welcomes a range of yoga experience, with options offered throughout our practices.

Because this is a flow-based practice, you should be comfortable bearing some weight on your hands and wrists and moving between standing and seated positions with relative ease.

You don't need to be especially flexible or master advanced poses. The spirit is simple: move like you love your body.

4. How physically demanding are the Zion adventures? Are optional adventures included?

Our included guided Zion experience will accommodate a range of abilities, with smaller groups where appropriate. Some walking and uneven terrain should be expected.

On our free adventure day, you can choose an optional guided experience with Zion Guru, such as canyoneering or an e-bike ride, at an additional cost, at your own expense——or explore independently or simply relax at Nama-Stay.

5. Where is Nama-Stay located?

Nama-Stay is located at 111 Juniper Lane, Springdale, Utah 84767, just five minutes from Zion National Park's south entrance and within walking distance of Springdale's cafés, galleries, and shops.

6. Which airport should I fly into?

  • St. George Regional Airport (SGU) is approximately one hour from Springdale.

  • Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas is approximately 2.5–3 hours away by car.

Please note: Rental cars and shuttle services are available. Airport transfers are not included.

7. When should I arrive and depart?

Check-in begins Thursday, May 20, 2027, at 4:00 PM Mountain Time. Our retreat concludes Sunday, May 23, with morning practice, farewell brunch, and check-out by 11:00 AM Mountain Time.

Utah is one hour ahead of California and Nevada during our retreat.

8. Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Yes. Please list any dietary restrictions in your booking form so our chef can plan for you.

9. Can you help me find a roommate?

Yes, we’re happy to help. Shared rooms are booked first come, first served by guests who already have a roommate. If you’re coming solo and would like to share, please email hello@alexdawsonyoga.com before booking. We’ll do our best to pair you with another solo guest in a Shared Twin Cabin, where you’ll each have your own bed. Once you’re matched, you’ll both book. If you email us before November 1, you’ll keep VIP pricing even if your match comes later.

A friendly note: if you snore, please share that with good intent so your potential roommate can make an informed choice. A little honesty goes a long way! 😴

10. What if the retreat has to change?

If government restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control require changes, we’ll first try to reschedule or offer credit toward a future retreat. Any refunds depend on how much of our vendor payments can be recovered. If Alex is unable to teach, a qualified substitute will lead the retreat.

11. Is a payment plan available?

Yes. A $500 non-refundable deposit holds your spot. The balance is split into two payments, due January 8 and February 8, 2027. Bookings made after February 8 are paid in full.

12. What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations must be requested by email to hello@alexdawsonyoga.com and take effect when received, by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the dates below.

  • Through January 7, 2027: All payments are refundable except the $500 deposit.

  • January 8 – February 7, 2027: The $500 deposit plus 50% of the retreat price after the deposit is nonrefundable.

  • Beginning February 8, 2027: No refunds.

Refunds are calculated based on your confirmed retreat price, including any applicable discounts, regardless of your payment schedule.

This policy applies to all cancellations under all circumstances, including illness, injury, family or pet emergencies, travel disruptions, or changes in personal plans. We strongly recommend Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance to protect your investment.

Travel Insurance

Because our cancellation policy is strict, we strongly recommend travel insurance with Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage. CFAR plans usually must be purchased within 14 days of your first deposit, so we suggest arranging it right after booking.

13. Can I transfer my spot?

Yes, with our approval. You’re responsible for finding your replacement, and if you’re in a shared room, your roommate must also approve. Any payment between you and your replacement is handled privately.

14. Do I really need travel insurance?

We strongly recommend it. Because our cancellation policy is strict, Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance is the best way to protect your investment if your plans change. Coverage varies by plan, so please read each policy carefully to understand what it reimburses. Most CFAR plans must be purchased within 14 days of your first deposit, so look into coverage soon after you book. Travel insurance is not included in the retreat price.
