Breakfast and late lunch/dinner
As outlined in itinerary
Welcome to the enchanting winter wonderland of Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus and the gateway to the Arctic.
Check into our cozy accommodations after 3:00 PM, where we'll settle in for the next five unforgettable nights. Once everyone has arrived, we'll make a quick grocery stop to stock up on breakfast favorites, snacks, wine, and anything you'd like to have on hand throughout the week.
With our supplies gathered, we'll wander through the charming town center, soaking in the festive atmosphere and getting our first taste of Arctic life before gathering for our welcome dinner at 7:00 PM. (If your flight arrives later, no worries—you can join the group afterward.)
If the skies cooperate, we'll end our first evening with a peaceful walk to a nearby lookout, hoping to catch our very first glimpse of the magical Northern Lights dancing overhead.
After breakfast, we'll head to the iconic Santa Claus Village, where you'll officially cross the Arctic Circle, browse charming boutiques, and even send postcards home from Santa's famous post office.
We'll warm up over a delicious bowl of traditional Finnish soup before the afternoon's adventure begins.
It's time for one of Lapland's most unforgettable experiences—a thrilling husky safari through snow-covered forests. Feel the excitement as your eager team of huskies carries you across pristine winter landscapes that seem straight from a storybook.
This evening we'll enjoy dinner together at a stylish local bistro before heading out on a guided Northern Lights excursion by bus, venturing beyond the city lights in search of one of nature's most spectacular displays.
This morning invites you to embrace one of Finland's most treasured traditions.
We'll visit the beautiful Apukka Sauna Experience, where you'll have time to relax in authentic Finnish saunas before taking the exhilarating plunge into an icy dip—a surprisingly invigorating ritual you'll be talking about long after the trip ends. Optional massages are available for anyone wanting an extra dose of relaxation.
After another comforting Finnish soup lunch, the afternoon is yours to design.
Choose from optional adventures like a peaceful winter forest hike with hot chocolate, the unforgettable experience of floating among the ice in a thermal survival suit, or simply enjoy some quiet time exploring at your own pace.
Tonight we'll gather back at our cozy cabins for a relaxed homemade group dinner, sharing stories from the day by the warmth of the fire.
Today offers a meaningful glimpse into the traditions of Lapland.
We'll visit a family-run Sámi reindeer farm, where you'll learn about Indigenous Sámi culture, meet these gentle Arctic animals, enjoy a traditional reindeer sleigh ride, and warm up beside the fire with coffee or rich hot cocoa.
After lunch, we'll venture into the peaceful silence of the Arctic wilderness on a guided snowshoe trek, discovering snow-laden forests that few visitors experience on foot.
Following dinner together, we'll head toward the river, where dark skies and wide-open landscapes offer another incredible opportunity to witness the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis.
This morning we'll discover another side of Lapland with visits to the fascinating Arktikum Museum and the Korundi House of Culture, where you'll gain a deeper appreciation for Arctic history, nature, and contemporary Finnish art.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy Rovaniemi however you'd like. Browse local boutiques for handcrafted souvenirs, cozy up in a café, or, for those craving more adventure, spend the afternoon skiing at a nearby resort.
We'll also have the option to visit an incredible ice bar and enjoy one last peaceful walk through the snowy forest before our final evening in Rovaniemi.
Tonight, after dinner, keep your camera nearby—you may be able to watch the Northern Lights from the warmth of the saunas at our beautiful chalets.
After breakfast, we'll journey north to the charming mountain village of Levi, one of Finland's premier winter destinations.
Our adventure continues with an exciting snowmobile safari, gliding across frozen lakes and snowy trails while surrounded by breathtaking Arctic scenery.
This evening is one you'll never forget.
We'll check into luxurious glass igloos, where you'll spend the night beneath the Arctic sky. After dinner, we'll stroll together to a nearby open-sky viewing area in hopes of one final unforgettable Northern Lights show.
Don't forget to pack your favorite white outfit for some magical snowy photos under the stars.
After breakfast, we'll make our way back to Rovaniemi Airport for departing flights.
As we say goodbye to Lapland, you'll leave with unforgettable memories of Arctic adventures, cozy evenings, new friendships, and perhaps a few magical encounters with the Northern Lights.
Until the next adventure—safe travels!
