Spend 10 unforgettable days exploring Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy with a small group of like-minded women.

This trip blends charming cities, coastal beauty, and slower countryside experiences in a way that feels both exciting and relaxed.

We begin just outside of Venice in Treviso before heading into Slovenia, where we spend several nights in Ljubljana exploring nearby highlights like Lake Bled and the Bohinj region.

From there, we travel into Croatia and settle into Rovinj, a coastal town known for its colorful old town, incredible food, and laid-back atmosphere. This is where the trip really slows down, with time to enjoy long dinners, a cooking experience, and a wine tasting in the Istrian countryside.

We end with one final night in Venice, the perfect way to wrap up the experience.

Expect beautiful scenery, great food and wine, and the kind of connections that happen when you travel with the right group of women.

Benvenuto in Italia. After arriving at Venice Marco Polo Airport, we’ll transfer to our boutique hotel in Treviso, Porta Altinia Suites, and settle in. I like to keep this first day easy so you can land, breathe, and not feel rushed. In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner to kick things off. This is where strangers start becoming friends.

After breakfast, we’ll head out toward Slovenia. On the way, we’ll stop at Lipica Stud Farm for a guided visit before continuing on to Ljubljana. Once we arrive, we’ll check into our hotel, Hotel Slamič, and head out for a guided walk through the city, including a ride up to the castle. It’s the perfect introduction to one of Europe’s most underrated cities.

Today we’re heading to Lake Bled. Think alpine lake, little island church, and those postcard views you’ve probably seen before. We’ll take a traditional boat out to the island, explore, and then you’ll have free time to grab lunch or just take it all in. We’ll head back to Ljubljana and return to Hotel Slamič for the night.

Today feels a little more local. We’ll head into the Bohinj region for a slower, more authentic experience. You’ll learn about traditional alpine life, visit a local dairy farm, and taste regional cheeses. It’s a nice contrast to the more popular spots and gives you a better feel for the area beyond the highlights. We’ll return to Ljubljana and overnight again at Hotel Slamič.

We leave Slovenia today and make our way toward Croatia, with a stop at Postojna Cave along the way. After some time to explore and grab lunch, we’ll continue on to Rovinj. Once we arrive, we’ll check into our hotel, Hotel Melegran, located right in the old town. You’ll have the rest of the evening to wander, find dinner, or just enjoy being by the water.

Today is one of my favorite kinds of travel days. We head to Pula, start at the local market, and then jump into a hands-on cooking experience. You’ll help prepare a full meal and then sit down to enjoy it with wine. It’s relaxed, fun, and one of those experiences people always remember. After, we’ll return to Hotel Melegran in Rovinj.

No plans today. Sleep in, go for a swim, wander the old town, or grab a long lunch by the water. I always like to build in a day like this so you can explore at your own pace or just do nothing at all. Overnight again at Hotel Melegran.

We’ll take a short drive into the Istrian countryside for a wine tasting experience near Buje. Expect local wines, small bites, and a really beautiful setting. After, we’ll head back to Rovinj and spend our final night at Hotel Melegran.

Today we make our way back to Italy. After the transfer to Venice, we’ll take a boat into the city and check into our hotel, Hotel Saturnia & International. You’ll have some time to explore before we come together for one last group meal. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the trip.
