The retreat starts Friday with Dinner at 5:30 pm and ends 11 am on Sunday
Reconnect with your foundation in this retreat centered on the Earth element. Through grounding yoga flows, slow Qigong movements, forest bathing, and deep guided meditations, you’ll cultivate inner stillness and resilience. Sound baths will harmonize your energy, while Ayurvedic practices and chakra exploration will support physical and emotional grounding.
Leave feeling nourished, supported, and
rooted in your authentic self.
Jeannine Wonderling
I started practicing yoga and meditation while entering into my middled-age years, as things were changing drastically in my life. The practice allowed me to feel stronger both mentally and physically, helped alleviate stress and anxiety, and helped me sleep more soundly each night. In addition to becoming a certified RYT 200 Yoga Instructor in 2023, I also started my study of Shinrin Yoku, or Forest Bathing. In October 2024, I became certified as a Forest Therapy Guide. I enjoy hiking and walking outdoors, sewing, theater, music and travel. I live in the Altoona area with my partner, my youngest daughter, and our two crazy goldendoodles.
Please note that this retreat includes a variety of group activities that may involve
walking, standing for extended periods, and navigating uneven terrain. In order to
ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees, we kindly ask that
participants be able to fully engage in the retreat schedule without requiring mobility
assistance that could limit the group’s movement or timing.
We deeply value inclusion and want everyone to have a meaningful experience. If you
have specific concerns or needs, please reach out to us in advance so we can discuss
accommodations or future retreat opportunities that may be a better fit.
