Title: A truly transformative space for peace and renewal: ​I recently returned from an eight-day silent retreat at Bethany Retreat Center, and I cannot recommend this sacred space highly enough. Located on 140 rolling acres of serene green spaces and beautiful wooded trails, the natural surroundings offer the perfect backdrop for quiet reflection, deep rest, and spiritual renewal. ​The accommodations are excellent—the private rooms are comfortable, well-equipped, and designed to foster peace. Every detail is thoughtfully cared for, including three delicious, nourishing meals provided daily in the main dining room. The environment created by the staff and facilities allowed me to step away fully and experience a truly meaningful silence. I am deeply grateful for my time here and look forward to returning.

I can't say enough about how great this retreat was. The grounds are well kept, thoughtfully laid out and there were plenty of places to walk or hike. The rooms are simple and comfortable. the food was delicious. The most important thing was that I felt an overwhelming peace and acceptance there. It has been over a week since I've been back home and I still experience the inner silence and spaciousness that the retreat gave me. I am so thankful to have experienced the time with the facilitators and fellow retreatants, it really gave me a sense of community and belonging that I rarely experience.

It was a wonderful spiritual experience. The video and interactions were uplifting. the food was healthy and delicious. The accommodations clean and comfy. Although I was suffering physically and should have cancelled and come at another time, Sr. Ruth Ann helped me realize that I bought that with me and turned it over to God during my centering prayer when I thought I couldn't let go of it for the 30 minutes. I met some very wonderful people. I'd love to come back when I'm recovered to be able to walk the stations.

The gift of peace, quiet and stillness was so appreciated. We love the atmosphere and attitude at Bethany. We feel at home. The accommodations were perfect: a comfortable bed in a small room and my own bathroom. Food was was good with many healthy choices which I enjoyed. Thank you for salad every day and watermelon and blueberries. I did indulge in a couple of desserts. 😄 Centering prayer offered us what we needed spiritually and the videos stretched my imagination.
