The vibe and energy at Setu will instantly settle you into a calm state so you can easily decompress from your week and connect with nature, yourself, and other like-minded people. This weekend will be an immersion of yoga, self-care, meditation, seasonal living, and more. Offerings will include a variety of yoga classes, Ayurvedic meals, evening sound gong meditation, a fire pit, a sauna/hot tub, and more. Our daily activities provide a structure to your weekend but are all optional, so you can personalize your weekend.
Friday night:
Before you arrive, grab a bite to eat or bring a light meal to dine in the dining room.
Check-in is between 5-6:00 pm. There may be massage times available starting at 3:00. Friday night includes: a short tour of Setu, Welcome circle, Restorative Yoga class
.
Saturday:
Two local hikes of varying lengths (2-3 miles and 5-6 miles) will be offered and led by your leaders. It's prime foliage time, so you'll want to spend time outside, which could also mean walking the gardens of Setu or sitting by the coy pond. During the afternoon, massage and Ayurveda services will be offered. (Details will follow closer to the retreat so you can choose your hike and book your massage at the proper time).
Lunch is on your own Saturday so bring a lunch from home or pick up a meal before arriving. Food can be stored in small refrigerators in your room or hallway.
Late Saturday afternoon: Group Mandala creation and journaling
Saturday evening:
A group sound gong meditation led by Hermeet, one of Setu's owners.
Sunday morning
An Exploration into the 7 Chakras. We will learn ways to balance these energy centers by way of sound, food, color, yoga asana, meditation, and scents.
Your leaders, Cynthia Griffin and Nancy Wind met several years ago during an extensive yoga health coaching certification program and knew instantly that they wanted to collaborate to offer soulful and powerful retreats. This will be our third retreat at Setu. (It's that special of a place).
Book today to embrace our collective wisdom and knowledge of yoga, Ayurveda, self-care, and healing.
