About this trip

Join me for a long weekend of yoga, nature, & personal exploration to cultivate this harmony of inner connection & interconnection. 

You can expect daily yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation & hiking. There will be 2 mindfulness writing workshops where we will create space for new opportunities aligned with our goals & purpose, as well as exploring ways to access & shine our inner light. Of course, there will be plenty of time to relax & wander amongst the tree. This retreat is for YOU, so I welcome you to participate in as much or as little as you want. 

What we do in the retreat is just as important as where we stay- honoring sustainability and nature. University of Earth is tucked at the foot of an ancient sacred mountain. The magic of the mountain, trees, river combined with U of Earth's mission to create an ecocentric society that works for us all, both humans and non-humans, and to support creating sustainable Ecovillage's as models of life-enhancing community provides the perfect setting for these practices. 

What’s included

  • Meals
    Breakfast, lunch, dinner provided [Thursday dinner through Sunday breakfast]
  • Hikes
    We will have one longer hike & one shorter, Friday & Saturday, suggestions for Sunday if you stick around
  • Daily yoga [asana]
    There will be a daily asana [physical] practice.
  • Yoga Nidra & meditation
    Daily Yoga Nidra & guided meditation, as well as time to explore other prompted or self led meditations
  • Mindfulness workshop
    In combination with Yoga Nidra, we will have some mindfulness workshops to explore intentions/ sankalpas & connect with inner truths
  • Posture labs
    Yoga workshop for arm balances & inversions and an alignment focused workshop breaking down poses
  • Nature walks
    Plenty of time for exploring the property to take in the healing powers of the sacred mountain, trees, river, & our Mother Earth
  • Airfare
    Reno airport is 60 miles from U of Earth
  • Transportation to & from
    If you are flying, you will need to organize transportation to & from the airport. Please reach out if you need guidance. If you are driving, there is parking available.
  • Additional meals
    Some snacks will be provided. Any meals off property, before dinner on Thursday, or after breakfast Sunday is your responsibility. All cabins have a kitchen.
  • Beer & wine
    No hard alcohol allowed on the property. You are welcome to bring beer or wine with respect to others' preferences. NO DRUGS- even if they are recreationally legal.
  • Additional activities
    There is a variety of other adventures to enjoy in the area, they are not covered in the retreat cost.
  • Lodging before or after
    If you are adding days at the front or back end of the retreat, I am happy to offer suggestions.
  • Trip insurance
    Unexpected events can arise, so please insure your flights or trip detail according to your comfort.

Perfect for those who want a budget friendly option & don’t mind a flashback to summer camp. The room has one bunk bed, two people max. If you want to share with a friend, please let me know. If you are booking solo, you will be paired with a likeminded individual. Bathrooms are shared, so 2- 4 people per bathroom.

This is a great option if you are attending with a friend or don’t mind making a new friend. The shared room has two twin beds. If booking with a friend, please let me know in payment notes & book at the same time. Bathrooms shared with another room, so 2- 4 people per bathroom.

If you need a little more room to stretch out when sleeping, there is one double bed shared room. You will be sharing with one other person or book with a friend who is happy in a twin bed. Please let me know if you are booking with a friend. Bathrooms are shared with a max of 4 people.

Private rooms come with a queen bed & shared bathrooms [sharing with up to 4 people.] If you are attending with your partner or a friend & you’re open to sharing a bed, you can choose to share this room. An additional person costs $350, that’s $1200 for two people max in a private.

I leaned on yoga while working the grind in Corporate America before realizing success doesn't have a C-level title or a dollar sign. I traded 70 hour work weeks for 70 mile hikes and decided to pursue my passion by sharing the healing power of the outdoors and yoga. Climbing, backpacking, trail running, and surfing have all influenced my approach to yoga, as well as drawing from various trainings and philosophies. Having first hand experience with some major injuries, I feel strongly about using yoga for injury prevention and recovery, both physically and mentally. I believe your practice is the mat, life is the real yoga.


T'was a wonderful retreat and timing for a transition happening in my life. The combination of activities - both athletic, and mindfulness activities were thoughtful and balanced. The food was absolutely amazing, and it was great to be able to have in a "community" space and table for sharing and getting to know others and meet new friends. A wonderful weekend of yoga, hiking and goal setting, combined with deliciously and thoughtfully prepared food and refreshments. I am counting down till the next trip that these three amazing people organize.
It was a real treat to attend Breana and Amy's Yoga, Mindfulness Adventure. It was a great combination with yoga, hiking and mindfulness. All the activities were run with great care and attention to the attendees. Good variety of yoga classes emphasizing different areas of our bodies. The mindfulness was something totally new to me and something I can further explore. Hiking in the Colorado mountains gave us an opportunity to also enjoy the great outdoors. The experience at the Yoga, Mindfulness and Adventure was amazing. The yoga instructions was great. I was a first time yogi as I attended with my wife and I was able to complete multiple classes. The workshops for mindfulness were very good for my marriage. The hiking was outstanding as the colorado views were great even in the rain. The food and accommodations were in line with the entire weekend, love it! Thank you to the team that put all this together for my wife and I. We will be back!
