This was an wonderful sail! Fitra Outdoors expertly curated the experience to ensure that we were well aligned with the crew and environment. This half day adventure felt purposeful and restorative. It is such a good reminder that natural Creation is accessible without having to drive forever or pack for a week. We just need to set our intention and look around us. The payoff is there, especially when you can count on like-minded organizers to take care of the planning! It’s amazing how 4-hours on the Bay almost feels like a week away! Would definitely do it again and go on other adventure with FA.

Alhamdulillah, we are so grateful our family could join this hike! Br. Sulayman, Sr. Thooba, Sr. Nadya, and Sr. Yasmin were amazing guides, mashaAllah. The hike location was also a beautiful spot — we got to enjoy the beauty of Allah's creation, soak in the sun and the positive energy it provided, and benefit from the thoughtful reflections led by Br. Sulayman and Sr. Thooba, which made the trip even more special. Our family especially appreciated the reflection and quiet time in the Rose Garden, praying in jamaah with the Pacific Ocean as our backdrop, and enjoying reflection time on the seashore.

My stepson and I had a once-in-a-lifetime experience sailing in the San Francisco Bay. Between Suleyman's careful planning and the Pegasus's captain and crew, we felt safe and cared for at all times. The added bonus of being with fellow Muslims made the whole thing super special. AllahuAkbar (God is great)!

Sulayman and Thooba were excellent guides and the hike was peaceful and more than just a hike, I especially appreciated stopping along the way and reflecting on signs in nature as a way to reflect on our own lives and society.
