Meals are served at the teahouses and include freshly prepared Nepali, Tibetan, and international dishes such as dal bhat, noodles, soups, rice, pasta, and seasonal vegetables. Full-board meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are designed to be nutritious and energy-rich, supporting you throughout the trek.
Guide & Porter
The Manaslu Circuit Trek is led by a licensed, experienced English-speaking guide who ensures your safety, manages permits, and shares local cultural insights throughout the journey. Friendly and reliable porters carry your main luggage, allowing you to trek comfortably and enjoy the experience. Alpine Vista Treks is committed to fair wages, proper equipment, and ethical treatment of all staff.
Permits
The Manaslu Circuit Trek requires special trekking permits issued by the Government of Nepal. All permits are arranged by Alpine Vista Treks, and trekkers must be accompanied by a licensed guide as per regulations.TransportationTransportation for the Manaslu Circuit Trek is available by private vehicle or local sharing transport, depending on your preference and budget. Private jeeps offer comfort, flexibility, and faster travel, while local shared jeeps or buses provide an economical and authentic travel experience. All transfers are arranged by Alpine Vista Treks to ensure safe and reliable journeys to and from the trek start and end points.
Drinking Water
Safe drinking water is available throughout the trek at teahouses. Trekkers can purchase boiled or filtered water or refill bottles at designated water points. We recommend carrying reusable bottles and water purification tablets or a filter to minimize plastic waste and ensure hydration at higher altitudes.
Clothing
Proper trekking clothing is essential for comfort and safety on the Manaslu Circuit Trek. Layered clothing is recommended, including moisture-wicking base layers, warm insulating layers, and a waterproof jacket. Warm hats, gloves, trekking boots, and thermal wear are necessary, especially for higher elevations and the Larkya La Pass.
Trek Difficulty
The Manaslu Circuit Trek is rated moderate to challenging, requiring good physical fitness and prior trekking experience. Daily walks range from 5–10 hours on varied terrain, with high-altitude exposure and the crossing of the Larkya La Pass (5,160m). Proper acclimatization and a steady pace are essential for a safe and enjoyable trek.
