He is deeply knowledgeable about Turkish history, culture, religion, archaeology, and daily life, and he shared information in a way that was engaging and never overwhelming. What truly made the trip special was his attentiveness and ability to personalize the experience. He knew when to guide, when to give us time to explore on our own, and when to adjust the itinerary based on our interests and physical comfort level (to deal with stairs and confined spaces). Every detail was thoughtfully handled, from hotel selections, transportation, to restaurant recommendations. We especially appreciated that the trip never felt rushed despite covering so much of the country.
