I had an absolutely phenomenal time at this retreat! From beginning to end, everything was incredibly well organized, the energy was amazing, and the sense of community made the experience truly unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event such a success. I can't wait to attend again!
I wanted to offer a few suggestions that I believe could make an already outstanding event even better:
Bike cleaning between sessions: Since there are multiple cycling sessions throughout the day and many participants share bikes, it would be great if the bikes could be quickly cleaned and disinfected between ride sessions for hygiene and comfort.
Opportunity to choose bike placement: It would be wonderful if participants had the opportunity to choose where they ride at least once each day. I completely understand that the organizers often place the strongest riders who know the choreography in the front so that photos and videos showcase the event beautifully for marketing purposes. That absolutely makes sense. At the same time, many attendees dream of experiencing what it's feels like to ride in the front row, even if it's only once during the retreat. Most participants already have cycling experience, and giving everyone the chance to ride in their preferred location would make the experience even more memorable and inclusive. For many, it's not about being the best at choreography—it's about fulfilling a goal, feeling part of the excitement, and creating a special memory they'll never forget.
Theme colors announced earlier: It would be very helpful if the daily color themes were announced as soon as registration opens. Many of us enjoy participating in the themes, and having that information earlier gives us enough time to shop for the colors and brands we'd like to wear.
Earlier hotel room reservations: If possible, allowing attendees to reserve extra time at the hotel rooms at the time registration opens would make travel planning much easier. Waiting until closer to the event can make it more difficult to secure preferred accommodations.
Recovery-focused classes: While I enjoyed all of the class offerings, I think adding mobility, stretching, and recovery sessions would be a fantastic complement to the cycling schedule. These classes would help participants recover between rides and enhance the overall fitness experience.
Hotel front desk information: Since the hotel hosts the event, it would be helpful if the front desk had a simple FAQ sheet with answers to common questions about the retreat. This would allow guests to receive basic information immediately rather than waiting for an organizer to become available.
Thank you again for creating such an incredible experience. These suggestions are simply offered in the spirit of making an already exceptional event even better. I truly loved every minute of it and am already looking forward to the next retreat!
