Flo Retreat Center is unique place high in the middle of a lush green forest and beautiful waterfalls. Our Sisterhood and Chocolate Retreat was wonderful. It was so enjoyable to meet and spend time with very special women. We bonded well in all our activities. My favorite being daily yoga. Our meals were amazing. I had an amazing experience at FLO Retreat Center for the third year in a row! FLO offers comfortable, spotless accommodations, a beautiful yoga studio, a fully equipped fitness room, and so much more. Nestled on a mountainside in a lush tropical jungle, the property is surrounded by vibrant plants, colorful birds, and beautiful butterflies, creating a peaceful and inspiring setting. The staff at FLO is exceptional, and the retreat center is thoughtfully managed, making every stay relaxing and enjoyable. This year, I attended the Sisterhood and Chocolate Retreat, and I loved every minute of it. I met incredible women of all ages, hiked to stunning waterfalls, learned watercolor painting, enjoyed gentle morning yoga classes, explored local villages, strolled along the beach, and experienced so many memorable adventures. The food was another highlight of the retreat. Our chef, Karen, prepared delicious meals featuring fresh fruits, vegetables, and flavorful local cuisine each day. We also enjoyed outstanding meals at nearby restaurants and were treated to a special dinner prepared by a local chef. FLO Retreat Center is the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and recharge. Whether you're looking for adventure, meaningful connections, or quiet personal reflection, FLO offers it all. I highly recommend FLO Retreat Center and can't wait to return!

This retreat center is magical! It’s the combination of venue, amenities, and the people. You can see the rainforest and the cloud forest and the Pacific Ocean all from one spot. It is secluded yet close to a small town. There are seven waterfalls on the property which are magnificent. They have made many of them accessible via steps. The Casitas and shared rooms are lovely. It feels like elevated camp for adults. Our yoga instructor was extraordinary. The chef makes beautiful fresh meals. And the staff could not be any more caring and kind.

My experience at the Sisters & Chocolate Retreat (2026) was nothing short of transformative. The special time began and ended with the people who make Flo what it is and who have found ways big and small to support each person's wellness, offer a sense of safety, nourish the group with fresh, delicious food, educate, and enrich in so many ways. The setting is also a stand-out with well-appointed rooms/casitas, a pool, waterfalls on the property, opportunities to hike, a beautiful space for yoga, and so much more. I can't say enough positive things about the experience! I was so moved by it that not only am I already thinking of when I can go back, but I am thinking all about ways to build on what I learned, felt, and intuited there and integrate the practices into my daily life.
