I did both of the Fiji trips offered by FF. So I begin with the resort..Beqa Lagoon was lovely, the people who worked there were fantastic. Food was good and I enjoyed learning about the culture. I would visit them again but not with FF. Communication with FF was difficult at best. It took forever for the flight arrangements to be sent out. While it may have been due to Fiji Airways, the shop did not bother to communicate that issue to clients that called in to ask about it. Airfare was included from 3 different places. LAX, SFO and HNL. One the first trip one of my friends was on the HNL connection. The entire time Chris and Tracy made it seem as if it was a "chore" to deal with her flight arrangements. She could not leave with all of us and had to stay behind at the resort. She had to move to another bure, the resort did not have any food preparations for her,the transfers to the airport were ridiculous. FF basically washed their hands of all of it. As a travel company, FF missed a lot of marks. I travel very extensively and I know what a good level of service is. The second trip I had very low expectations. My friend on this trip unfortunately had a life threatening underwater event on the shark dive. She had to be sent to the hospital in Nadi. The only positive for FF was the trip leader Mel. She kept me and everyone informed and was a lovely trip leader. I was not the only one who was not impressed with FF and I know they will never travel with them again. I will not recommend to anyone who asks to travel with this company.

Everyone at Beqa Lagoon resort was gracious, helpful and made you feel at home. The grounds are amazing! Bure is clean and spacious. And the activities were fun and helped me know Fiji. I will return to Beqa. Probably not with flying fish organizing the trip though. Still waiting on a refund and not sure I will ever see it. Very disappointed.

I traveled with Flying Fish on their first Fiji trip. The resort and staff at the resort were absolutely, but flying fish was not! If you are one of their divers from their shop you may be treated well, such as the 5 star reviews here, but I would not recommend traveling with them. Tracy and Chris were disorganized and misrepresented the trip. A few months before the trip, a trip that was meant to include nonstop airfare to LAX/STO/HNL, I found out that there were no flights to HNL on the day we were scheduled to leave. They wanted me to leave a day early (missing out on dives and a night at the resort with no refund) but finally offered for me to stay an extra day. However, this meant that I had to cancel and incur expenses for what I had planned after I arrive in HNL. When I told this the Tracy, her exact words were “take it up with your travel insurance.” I also had to move into a downgraded room for my last night. Additionally, when they did book my return flight to HNL, it was a flight with a stop over in Kiribati- not non stop like they advertised. Communication from them was non existent, and they acted like reaching out to them was a hardship.
