The tour was fantastic. We saw a variety of locations and received a lot of information and history from our tour guide, Marco. The tour was terrific.

Gabriel, our guide, was fabulous. He was very knowlegable about the flora and fauna and Equador, and Quito in general. He was polite and patient and answered lots of questions. He catered the tour to what we were interested in. We saw beautiful birds and butterflies in lovely sanctuaries. The birds were wild and free but drawn by food. Had hummingbirds feeding from our hands. Gabriel knew where to purchase specific things. Enjoyed a lovely lunch in Mindo. Carlos, our driver, also got us safely from one location to next. The day was "not to be missed"!

This was a fantastic tour of Quito. We had a wonderful time We did the Old Town of Quito and the Middle of the World. The Middle of the World at the Equator was a great experience to stand in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time! We stopped for lunch a restaurant with the best empanadas I have ever had. Old Town was very interesting as it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Chocolate tasting was an education in chocolate!! The view from the Pannecillo was spectacular. The Great Horned Owl team was great, the car was comfortable, the driver was great and the tour guide knowledgeable. This was a great way to see Quito in one day.

We booked a private tour for 4 people rather than going on a larger tour with our cruise line. Juan and the driver were both great. We were able to tailor the tour to our own needs without being part of a more structured, larger group. Very much enjoyed the cloud forest hikes and the restaurant where we had lunch. The bird sanctuary with all the hummingbirds was a special treat. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour!! We really enjoyed the full day tour, visiting San Tadeo Birding where we observed hummingbirds, toucans, and other birds, the Mariposas de Mindo butterfly sanctuary, the Nambillo River cable car ride and a hike to Nambillo Fall (lots and lots of step on the trail), lunch at the Serenity cafe in Mindo followed by a tour of Yumbos chocolate factory. An action packed day with Carina as our wonderful guide! Very nice van for the 2 hour drive to and from Mindo with an excellent driver.
