We enjoyed the tour even though it was very challenging. There was some miscommunication when we were give a review of the options, but I’m glad we chose the one day Cotopaxi climb to the base station. Any more and our old knees would’ve buckled for sure. If you’re going to climb this you need hiking shoes. DON’T DO IT IN TENNIS SHOES!!

3 hours on a private horseback riding tour through volcanic backcountry was absolutely magical! Our tour guide on the bus ride there spoke English and Spanish while he enthusiastically gave us important facts and information about the tour and Ecuadorian culture. We ate breakfast and drank teas at the lodge before our stop in Cotopaxi National Park. The ranch provided alpaca chaps, a poncho and hat. My tour guide, Jorge was super friendly and kind… even stopping halfway for a bite to eat in a meadow, pictures and a stretch/rest for us and the horses. We saw wild deer, birds, beautiful petit flowers lining the ground, streams and various hills of rugged terrain with 3 volcanoes in view. Breathtaking views and a traditional lunch at the ranch after. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderfull time. Willian, our guide made our experence unforgettable !! He is un expert finding hidden animals in the forest. We saw different types of monkeys, sloths, caimans, dolphins, tucans, bats,etc, etc. Thanks to everyone in the lodge : food was good, service efficient. There's only one advise for you: mosquito nets shall be changed, because some have holes on them. Besides it, everything was perfect!

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Les lodges sont perdus dans la nature et deviennent un lieu de tranquillité d'esprit. Le personnel était aux petits soins avec nous. La nourriture y étais bonne et de qualité. Le guide, dynamique et sympathique (qui parlait français), nous a fait découvrir la forêt. Ses connaissances semblaient inépuisables. On a pu rencontrer des singes, des caïmans, des grenouilles, des mygales, des perruches et un boa. Et découvrir les plantes, et même les déguster en forêt. On a choisi ce lodge pour sa proximité avec Quito. Et ça a été pratique. Super choix !
