We took the seven day tour of Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain in May 2026. Both Henry our tour guide, and Ruben our driver, were consummate professionals. They oversaw every detail of our tour, including accommodations, transportation and tickets. They were always on time and provided daily reminders of the next day’s activities, summarizing key points and considerations. Henry was extremely knowledgeable about each of the sites we visited, and was particularly caring and encouraging during the Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain hikes, to ensure we were comfortable and had the best experience. Henry also helped with dinner suggestions and reservations in Cusco, which has many fine restaurants, as dinner was the only meal not provided by the hotel (breakfast) or included in the tour (lunch). We chose the four star hotel option which was well worth it as the accommodations in both the Sacred Valley and Cusco were at highly rated Sonesta hotels, and included elaborate breakfast buffets. Overall, the tour was a tremendous value and a very efficient way to experience amazing sites in the Cusco area. I highly recommend Kantu Peru Tours as they exceeded our expectations and provided a very smooth, enjoyable and memorable vacation.

The tour was great. I was skeptical of our ability to complete Circuit 2, but the tour guide Harold was very patient and also very prepared with all the info we needed, we where very pleased with the tours we did with Kantu Peru Tours

We had a two great days enjoying the wonders of the Inca. We would've liked to have had more time in Valle Sagrado, it all felt a bit rushed. We had to rush to the train station walking all the way from the archaeological site in Ollantaytambo. The next day was really wonderful. Machu Picchu was amazing and our guide was very good and well prepared with photos and gave us lots of interesting information.
