Kim and I (Goldie) had a fantastic time and feel very fortunate to have had this experience. Our pilot Jayden was funny, fabulous and so informative. Made the trip! As with most groups there are always a few grumbles! Yes, there were a few itinerary changes, beyond the organizers control . Didn’t worry us! Some mentioned the lack of a toilet stop at one time. A toilet stop after the flight from Innaminka to Cooper Pedy would have been appreciated! My comment was “guests could have spoken up!” Hats off to Linda! A difficult task having to cater for any group! Definitely a few characters on our tour. ☺️ thanks again to Linda and pilots.

Thanks Tom and Bonny for a wonderful time. You were great to travel with and so very generous with meals, snacks and drinks. I think we put on 2 kgs on our trip with all the wonderful food and wine. We really enjoyed the tour and scenery and appreciated both their skills in making a great alternative program due to a truck stuck in a crossing stopping us from continuing on our original tour. The flight over Lake Eyre was fantastic as was all the well planned excursion highlights which were so interesting. A very enjoyable week, this tour is so much more than seeing Lake Eyre as it encompasses the Flinders and Gammon Ranges and associated sites and activities of interest. Great hosts and all food, drinks and accommodation are taken care of.

For anybody wanting to see outback South Australia the Flinders Rangers, Lake Ayre/Kati Thanda and all the beautiful old places along the overland telegraph line and original Ghan railway - you can't get a better tour than this. Tom and Bonnie work as a fantastic team always friendly and great guides. Tom grew up in this area and he has connections everywhere we went he knows the history he knows the people who have made their lives in this area for generations as well as first Nations people whose landed it is. The tour covers all your costs; meals accommodation everything from beginning to end. On my tour heavy rains meant we couldn't get through the road to Coober Pedy where I was to fly back from on the Wednesday and so we had to turn around back to Marree. Tom immediately organised a light plane connection through Olympic Dam so that I was back in Adelaide to get my connection home to Perth where I need to be the following day for the memorial service for my brother's passing. All this at no extra cost to me! For all the other members the tour Tom and Bonnie organised to travel to the north end of the Flinders ranges and see more of that ancient country for their final day. It's a trip to remember all my life - thanks Tom and Bonnie. Oh and when you're in Maree for the evening meal - order the Camel burger - best burger I've ever had!
