We completed our Open Water Certification with Larry and Dive Buddy Scuba this past weekend at Gilboa Quarry, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Larry did an excellent job balancing safety, instruction, and fun. Throughout the weekend, he made sure we understood not just how to perform the required skills, but why they matter in real-world diving situations. There were several moments during our dives when concepts and techniques we had practiced suddenly clicked, and we gained a much deeper appreciation for their usefulness underwater. The training was thorough, professional, and paced in a way that helped build confidence without feeling overwhelming. Gilboa Quarry was a great place to complete the certification, and Larry's patience, knowledge, and encouragement made the entire experience enjoyable. If you're considering scuba certification or continuing your dive education, I highly recommend Larry and Dive Buddy Scuba. We had a great time, learned a lot, and left the weekend feeling prepared and excited for future dives.
