Once we booked the Nazca flight with JD Adventure, the guy from the company answered most of your questions via WhatsApp. I was stressing a bit about lack of concrete details in his answers, however, when the day came and I messaged him that we are driving towards Nazca airport, he sent us good instructions who and where to contact once we arrive. We had to wait about an hour for the flight, but in my understading and from my observations, this is a normal situaltion for everyone and a regurlar, if not minimum amount of time most people have to wait. In the end, everything turned out great, and we had a great time. Thank you, JD Adventure!

What a wonderful trip! We requested really the most special things and by god they were delivered, and how! We visited things that are visited by only a handfull of tourists a year, one thing that gets visited only once a decade!! We found an unknown geolgyph, an unknown petroglyph and even an unknown altar! Next to the altar, the guide discovered a tomb that was likely not luted by grave robbers!!! Do you get an idea of how these things feel? And ok, we went to the Ballestas islands. Even if you've already been there, if you love nature, going there again is just fun. And we did Nazca. And the Palpa lines, which are at least as interesting as the Nazca lines. Between Paracas - Ica and Nazca we visited several Huaca's ... and each time, we were completely alone, away from mass tourism!! Unfortunately, we were discouraged from visiting Estaqueria. A site that was mainly destroyed by the local population early in the 20th century (they used 90% of the wooden posts as fire wood) and now (so called?) roadworks prevented us to access the place. I booked a buggy tour for the National Reserve, but when I arrived at the office, no one seemed to know who I was or whether I had even made a reservation. Fortunately, I had my WhatsApp correspondence as proof. Around the scheduled time, I was picked up and taken to the buggy. However, the buggies were in poor condition—even by local standards. In fact, my guide’s buggy broke down in the middle of the park, and we had to wait about 10–15 minutes for a replacement. The tour includes three stops. I had understood it to be a two-hour experience, but that time includes the stops. If you spend 5–10 minutes at each location, the total tour ends up being closer to one hour rather than two, so keep that in mind. Overall, I would recommend renting a motorcycle instead, as it allows you to explore the area freely for a couple of hours at your own pace.
