I've been on a few retreats and this one was just not for me. Worst part is you don't know that until arrive because you get zero information about the retreat in the spirit of "go with the flow" The host uses this approach basically as an excuse for zero pre-trip communication. I arrived with no idea what to pack or what to expect, which caused unnecessary anxiety pre-trip, followed by disappointment during the trip. I come from a hospitality and tourism background and that just didn't sit well with me, you didn't know what to pack, what to expect, and then once you arrive you finally learn a little of what to expect and there are rules! One being no talking before yoga. Had I known any part of this retreat would be silent I would not have booked it. Its kills all the connect and makes it hard to develop 1:1 connections as the majority of the time is spent in a group setting. If you attend the retreat in Mallorca you'll be staying at the hosts (Molly's) house. Its away from the sea in a very difficult area to reach some of the girls taxis even made them walk the last leg of the way because the taxi drivers didn't like the dirt road. The property is very simple. A bit underwhelming for a retreat location which is a bummer because you pay good money to be here and then spend the almost all of your time in an place thats less than desirable. The property is also far away from the town and I say this because its impossible to get a taxi so you'll NEED to book a car or you'll be stuck on the property with lot of downtime. I was expecting a bit more adventure on this retreat but we barely left the location. So if you came to see Mallorca you won't see it. Honestly everything about this trip from booking till arrival was just not what I expected, and I would not recommend. There is no value for money on this retreat everything is a free activity meaning you could have done on your own. (Ex. A beach day, a massage you pay for, a long walk during the hotest part of the day). So all you get on this retreat is a place to stay thats in the middle of nowhere, meals, and at least 1 yoga class a day. Learn from my mistakes and everything I did not know! Knowledge is power. Had I known I would have booked something else and enjoy my time much more, its sad to be on such a beautiful island and spend all your time in a place. Only see 2 beachs and the only time you visit a town its to get an ice cream only. If you like adventure this retreat is not for you, if you like doing nothing all day, excessive napping, and a remote location then maybe this is a retreat your looking for. Food and yoga are good but way overpriced since its a pretty bare bones retreat in an isolated location.

Hi Kahlia, we are sorry to hear that the retreat did not meet your expectation. Everything you’ve stated in this review is quite clearly expressed on both our website and social media channels. We also shared a suggested packing list and what to expect in the group weeks before the retreat. We have made multiple posts about our morning silence, this is not a “rule” but a practice, and something we continue to receive positive feedback on. As for this affecting the ability to connect 1:1 we find the exact opposite to be true. The purpose of it is to facilitate a deeper connection to yourself so that the 1:1 connections made are deeper and more authentic. The entire rest of the day (from 10am until sleep) guests are socializing and connecting. If you did not cultivate the connections you were looking for it was not due to a lack of opportunity to make them. On our website and the sales page for the retreat itself it specifically says “we are not a yoga holiday and if you are someone who prefers rigid schedules and structured itineraries, this may not be the retreat for you.“ We do not host organized tours with a side of yoga, we host retreats. As for your comment that the venue is in the middle of nowhere, we are a short 10 minute drive from several towns and beaches. It is clearly stated in multiple places that if you desire to explore the island in your downtime, you will need to rent a car. Out of 5 full retreat days we spent 3 of those days at different beaches and locations. There were only 2 days that we spent the entirety at the venue, with most guests taking advantage of the free time to allow themselves to actually rest (which we believe is a major aspect of a retreat). Guests were reading, journaling, getting massages, and forging beautiful connections with each other. As anyone can see we have 30+ 5 star reviews, this being the only one we’ve ever received with such negative feedback. We pour a lot of love and intention into these experiences and are disheartened that you weren’t able to see that. We’re sorry that you didn’t understand the essence and intention of our retreats and will be sure to convey our ethos with more clarity moving forward. Wishing you the best.

The retreat to Morocco with Molly and Cristal was amazing. The journey offered an enriching experience of body, mind, and spirit. From the riad to the medina, to the yoga retreat, the depth of classes and offerings for activities, to the evening in the Agafay desert---it was all truly magical. Wonderful retreat!

I had such an amazing, rejuvenating, and beautiful experience at the Thailand Sirena Retreat this year. Molly’s presence and guidance through the whole week was so nurturing and gentle, and the women in the group all walked away with new friendships and lovely connections that will hopefully last a lifetime. Even when things didn’t go perfectly to plan during the retreat, there was such lightness and calmness to the energy of the group that it made it feel almost meant to be. I felt my heart rate slow down in a way it hasn’t in years and it was genuinely so peaceful. I’m forever grateful that I made the decision to attend this Sirena Retreat, and I would do the journey over again in a heartbeat. Thank you Molly, Wanwisa, Sam, and all the amazing people I met, for everything.

Thailand was a magical adventure curated by Molly. She is such a thoughtful facilitator who easily connected with all participants and staff. It was apparent that the details were chosen with care and that she took into account the individuals who were in participating in the retreat. I went half way around the world for this experience and it was SO worth it. I leaned into the power of simplicity and going with the flow of what is divinely planned. Many thanks to the Sirena Team for so many wonderful memories and for the lessons I learned by having the space and time to listen to myself.

The Solstice Retreat with Sirena was absolutely incredible. Molly is such a warm, welcoming & experienced teacher and practitioner. She created a fun & safe environment for a lovely group of women - truly everyone I met there was amazing! It was a great blend of activity and community with rest & solo time. The location in Mallorca was breathtaking - I miss doing yoga & meditation every morning on the beautiful outdoor Shala. I highly recommend this retreat if you're looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating, meaningful & fun retreat! I hope to join another one in the future!
