Being in the coastal rainforest with no cars, just sounds from the rainforest was so wondrous. The food was simple, healthy and delicious. The accommodations were great. Mionkeys pounding on my roof, wonderful torrents of rain, and plenty to explore. The people who work there were friendly and respectful. If Jonathon is there, ask for a walk in the rainforest. He knows so much about plants. And ask about plant ceremonies. I had a magical time.

We had the best time- the location, the staff, the food- we loved it all. We saw so much wildlife and explored the beach and Rio Clara. We brought our young kids and the staff could not be more accommodating. Thanks again and we’ll be back!

We really enjoyed staying at the Ocean Forest Ecolodge! The lodge is situated in a rainforest park, so we were able to see many animals, birds, butterflies and plants even without leaving the lodge. The homecooked food was local and delicious. I especially liked the homemade fruit ice cream (mango, passion friut) and the juices. There are only 2 options: vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The lodge is clean, peaceful and the employees are very friendly. The moskitos were not as bad as expected, but we did use insecticide sprays. Be aware, that you really have to walk 15-20 minutes to the lodge on the beach with your luggage, so use back packs if possible. We would definitely stay there again!

It was an amazing tour. We saw a lot of animals and birds! Our guide Roy showed us every single animal with his scope and so we got perfect pictures of anyone!
