So much fun! Gexel (sp?) was an excellent and engaging guide. The kids loved all the chocolate!

Gexxa was a great guide, we learned all about chocolate and had a fantastic tasting session at the end.

We really enjoyed our chocolate tour. We just got to Costa Rica the day before and Gixelle gave our tour and taught us about chocolate as well as the local culture. Because it was raining our group was the only one there and we really felt that we got a special experience. I don’t think you can really understand the process of making chocolate without seeing it from tree to spoon and try all the intermediate steps and flavors! They have umbrellas for the rain, definitely worth doing in the rainy season.

Keilor was one of the best tour guides we've ever had! He was super friendly and welcoming, and his dry sense of humor had us absolutely cracking up the entire time while still being genuinely interesting and informative. His group-handling skills were excellent and he made everything about the tour and chocolate-making demonstration fun for the kids and adults at the same time. My daughter is very shy, yet he somehow found a way to make her embrace being our "team leader" and even do a "cacao bean crushing dance" in front of a group of 15 strangers! She told us afterward that he reassured her that she didn't have to do it if she didn't want to, and that he would dance alongside her to help with her shyness. I can't recommend this place (and Keilor) enough! Stop reading this review and book this tour!
