In 2002, I was living in Boston after returning from the Peace Corps in Mali, an experience that taught me about the real power of community. I was seeking connection and community in a busy city and found both in a yoga studio. I trained for 8 years before moving to California. I learned a lot in the Bay Area, completing trainings in vinyasa yoga, yoga for traumatic brain injury, yoga for runners, and yin yoga. In 2025, I made the leap to Mexico. I teach dynamic yoga with a focus on strength, meditation, and pranayama practices.
