Nice tour, highly recommend! They accommodated my gluten free dietary preferences. We saw lots of wild life including: blue footed booby, penguins, crabs, turtles and sea lions.

Wow! Take your dramamine and be ready for a very bumpy, unpleasant ride. You are inside an enclosed cabin for two hours and it is a rough journey. Luckily no one got sick (remarkably) because that would have made it even worse. The seats are comfortable and I don't know that any other of the boats are any better. Brace yourself and be ready. Better yet... pay extra to fly. We flew from Isabella to San Cristobal and that was a wonderful, short trip. Good luck!

Dear David, Thank you for booking your Galápagos ferry ticket with us. I completely understand your point. Even for those of us who live in the Galápagos, traveling between islands on local ferries can sometimes be a rough experience. As you were able to see, we work with the best available ferries. However, due to the distance between the islands, approximately 40 miles, navigation can still be challenging, especially between July and December when traveling by speedboat. Blessings

Sailing through the Galapagos islands aboard MV Samba was such a unique and beautiful adventure!! The charm of being on a smaller boat and sharing a tight space with the crew as well as 13 other guests was an experience that only the Samba can provide. We swam with hammerheads, sea turtles, dolphins, sea lions, penguins, iguanas, and so many types of fish! We hiked over the lava rock that formed these magnificent islands and spotted birds and other animals that are endemic to the Galapagos. Our chef provided three amazing meals each day and kept us from being hangry after hours of exercise with snacks and local fruit juices. And there just aren't enough words to express how incredible our guide, Jimmy, was throughout the whole trip. The crew of the Samba were on top of everything!! From operating the Pangas that took us from the boat to shore, to keeping the boat tidy and running, to whipping up a delightful cocktail anytime you would ask!! Captain jose was extremely inviting and willing to spend time with you on the bridge, going over all the tools of navigation and sharing stories from previous sails and adventures! I honestly can't recommend this cruise enough. If you are looking to really "dive" into everything the Galapagos has to offer and enjoy being in the water and on the islands surrounded by nature instead of just watching it all through the binoculars on the deck of a ship, then the Samba is the boat to be on!!!

We booked with Gala Ferry for Ammy ferry to San Cristobal 2 months in advance. On the day of travel we were switched to J Luis which was lower in quality and broke down after 1 hour sailing so it had to return to port and we boarded another ferry. It took almost 5 hours to get to our destination. Gala ferry baited us with the picture of a newish boat and switch us to a dilapidated boat. We were a group of 9. I’m still very mad about our experience.
