All of the instructors were extremely friendly. The lessons are good value for money and everyone’s English is fantastic.

I came to Puerto Escondido as a complete beginner. I’m 55 yo, and this was my first time surfing in my life. After my first two lessons elsewhere, I was struggling a lot with take-offs and felt discouraged. Then I booked lessons with OASIS and Charly, starting from my third lesson, and continued with him for seven lessons. Charly made a big difference. He was always calm, patient, and relaxed, with no pressure. He consistently chose waves that were the right size and quality for my level, which helped me feel safe and encouraged. During the last three lessons, we progressed from the big blue beginner board to a 9'1" fiber board, around 80 liters. That transition felt natural because Charly guided it step by step. Most importantly, I found myself genuinely having fun riding waves, which I honestly did not expect when I started. I would highly recommend OASIS and Charly, especially for adult beginners who want patient coaching, good wave selection, and a supportive learning experience.

I had an incredible time staying at the Oasis Surf and Spanish School. I did the intensive 3hrs per day of Spanish for two weeks and it was definitely a leap in my abilities that I hope to keep making progress on back home. I had Liz and Aris as teachers and I really liked both of them. They had quite different teaching styles that complemented each other in a great way. The surfing nearly every day at Carrizalillo or La Punta was amazing and Charly was an incredible instructor and super fun to hang with out at the break. I also got a few lessons with Roger, which were legendary, including a big morning at La Punta. Huge thanks to Sole, Roger, and everyone who run the school for an incredible time. I can’t wait to return!!

The surfing was awesome. Juanito is a great teacher very patient very knowledgeable about the sport and the office was great with communication on times, etc. I would love to come back!

I had a great time staying with Oasis. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They organized the entire stay really well—making it easy to meet people while still keeping a structured, productive program focused on Surf & Spanish. The Spanish program was especially helpful, since I’m traveling through Central America right after.
