We are two couples — George and Kerrie, and Marina and Shane — and from the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. Our private tour guide, Pazi, was absolutely excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we experienced the very best of Sri Lanka. Having Pazi with us made the whole journey feel personal, relaxed and incredibly enjoyable. What we loved most about this holiday was that it was so much more than just a tour. It was an incredible mix of experience, culture, nature, history and, of course, the wonderful Sri Lankan people. Every day brought something completely different. We travelled from beautiful tea plantations to spectacular temples, explored ancient ruins, visited an elephant orphanage and went on an unforgettable elephant safari, not to mention 9 arch bridge , and Sygirya Lion Rock. We also got to experience Sri Lankan life in a much more personal way — taking part in cooking classes, trying so many delicious and completely new Sri Lankan foods, and meeting people who were always so friendly and welcoming. And that’s what really stands out about Sri Lankan Escape Holidays. At the end of every day, we would come back to our hotel with huge smiles, excitement and a real sense of joy about everything we had seen and done. There was always another story to tell and another memory to share. For the four of us, this has been so much more than a holiday. It has been an adventure, a cultural experience and a collection of memories that we will take home with us and treasure for years to come. Our trip was well organised, with great accommodation, interesting varied activities and an excellent guide. A great holiday that we would confidently recommend to others.

We had the most wonderful time in Sri lanka. Such a magical place. Our tour guide, TJ made our trip a memorable one. Very knowledgeable and lots of fun. Would recommend TJ for everyone. Food was beautiful, we ate vegan and vegetarian, nothing was a problem with the lovely sri lankan people. From climbing mountains, bullock ride to the lake, boat ride to locals who made us lunch. Last 2 days at the beach was a perfect way to finish our trip. Everything was very well organised.

We had the best time. Jennifer was fantastic with the assistance she gave us before, during and after the trip. TJ driver was very friendly, fun to be with and very knowledgeable. Food and accommodation were also very good. Being on a private tour we were able to accommodate our specific needs and go at our pace. It was a fantasy to see the beautiful Sri Lanka
