We had a great time and really unique experiences in Kenya. We were somewhat apprehensive that going in off-season and in the rainy month of April may lessen the fun, but the care and service provided by Steri Tours made sure we enjoyed every moment. Special thanks to Phoebe - for making arrangements and attending to our requests, Angela - for following through on any concerns we had, and Nick, a truly knowledgable guide and great spotter during our game drives. If you are planning a visit there, off-season does offer some definite benefits - we were able to secure reservations in best of camps and hotels, driving around in the park was easier with not much traffic and while it was difficult to spot animals at times, once you came across, you were not competing with 50 other jeeps to get a view. There was only one day when we got really rained out -- but being in the middle of Masai Mara, it had its own charm.
