I would like to review our photo workshop the Utah Mighty 5. Led by professional sports photographer Jeff swingman Swinger, we spent 10+ days, enjoying the privilege of experiencing and photographing the national parks of Utah.
We started with Zion, then we moved onto Bryce Canyon. Sunrise at Bryce was a brisk 15°F. We froze our tutus , but we got an amazing sunrise for our efforts.
Moving on through an amazing land of rock, desolation, rivers, and scarce growth. We extended our visit to Capital Reef. Following, we went onto Canyonlands Moab and Arches. This was an amazing journey that I’ll never forget.
Have a hard time going into details with a tour this long, but I’ve got to just say something about the level of guidance help, and teaching provided by our pro, Jeff.
Jeff is all about getting the exposure correct in camera. He teaches us composition, offers guidance on lens selections when necessary; explains shots in advance of us taking them. I can’t tell you how much help it was for me being on this tour with a wonderful group and Jeff. they were a total of seven photographers in our 15 passenger van. That included luggage and it was tighter than you would think. It had a lot to do with my large bag which was larger than everyone else😔
10 days together in a van made seven people, fast friends This is not the first time this has happened. Everyone was friendly, funny and considerate. Our group came together with our common photography passions, While experiencing the beauty of these wonderful parks.
Jeff does various versions of these photo tours in Utah, not to mention other places, such as monument Valley, Mexican hat, valley of fire, wild horses. Yes, wild horses. This is how I first met. Jeff and I need to get back at see those horses again.
A pleasure to write this review. If anyone reading this has the chance I can’t tell you how great this experience was for me. Thank you all and thank you, Jeff.
