A two day custom arranged tour for abut 17 persons. We approached Alicia with a request to set this up for us, and she delivered a superb tour for everyone. Our guide Victor led us over about nine hours and two days in an immersive experience of the start of Semana Santa. Preparation of Palm Sunday bouquets; visits to places of worship, integration of local history and Catholic Church activities in the area, the construction of an alfombra, and a couple of yours observing the Sunday morning parade from an optimum and uncrowded location. As well he dropped and picked us up at our hotel and we had an amazing sit down lunch of sandwiches and fruit at one of the premier places in town. This is a not to be missed experience. Alicia at voyageur tours set us up for an amazing tour of several Guatemalan archaeological sites at Tikal and Yaxhá. Our accommodations were great as were our guides and the transportation. No complaints. The price was right and our tour was amazing. Learned so many things and met wonderful people, saw so much beauty and learned so much about the Mayan people.
