I just returned from a two-week trip to Egypt, and I can honestly say it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Every day felt like stepping into a living museum, where ancient history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes came together in the most magical way. From the moment I arrived in Cairo, I was blown away by the energy of the city. Standing in front of the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx was surreal—no photo can prepare you for the sheer scale and presence of these wonders. The Egyptian Museum was a treasure trove of history, and the stories behind the artifacts made everything come alive. A cruise down the Nile was the highlight of the trip. Waking up in the morning to peaceful river views and stopping at temples like Karnak, Luxor, and Philae was simply incredible. Each site offered something unique, and the guides were passionate, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating insights. Aswan was another favorite—calm, colorful, and full of friendly people. The trip to Abu Simbel was absolutely worth it; those colossal statues are jaw-dropping in person. And I can’t forget the stunning sunsets over the Nile, which felt like something out of a movie. The Red Sea portion of the trip was the perfect way to unwind. Crystal-clear water made it feel like a completely different world. The hospitality everywhere I went was warm and genuine, and the food was consistently delicious—fresh, flavorful, and full of variety. Overall, my two weeks in Egypt were spectacular. The history, the landscapes, the culture, and the people all exceeded my expectations. It’s a destination I’d recommend to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, relaxation, and inspiration. I’m already dreaming about going back!
