r tour with Xoc Baja Tours after Daleth, who was also going to be our guide for the snorkel tour, put us in touch with Andrés. The booking process was super easy, and two days later, Andrés warmly welcomed us aboard his boat at the Malecón. Shortly after, Daleth and Captain Kori arrived. First, we headed toward Los Islotes for our first stop, where we had fun encounters with an incredible number of sea lions. Before that, we’d already spotted a few dolphins. Then we moved on to the second spot, where we could watch sea lions feeding alongside countless fish. The highlight of the tour, however, was yet to come. Our captain heard via radio that there were orcas nearby. Shortly after, we were actually able to spot them. Breathtaking! Unfortunately, our attempt to swim with them didn’t work out. It was still incredibly beautiful to watch these animals. Afterward, we had a belated lunch before heading back to La Paz. What a day! We would book a tour with XOC Baja Tours again in a heartbeat.
