I had a wonderful time on the retreat. Yvonne and Kate looked after everyone so well, scrumptious food, plenty of help with your sewing project and I met some wonderful people. The accommodation is great plenty of space to mingle or to sit quietly reading. Would love to go for a third time.

Once again, an amaaazing retreat. Great to escape, spend time with like minded ladies - sewing, knitting, crocheting and nattering…. Fantastic food, chill out in the hot tub overlooking the peaceful Devon countryside. Switch off….. Loved my (9th/10th?) retreat so much that I will be returning ❤️

This was my first Gathered Threads retreat and it more than lived up to all the fantastic reviews given by previous attendees! The location was gorgeous, the facilities great and Yvonne and Kate did so much to ensure everyone had a wonderful experience. Nothing was too much trouble and a lot of thought and planning ensured that it was a relaxing and hugely enjoyable time. The food was out-of-this-world delicious. The whole group was friendly, encouraging and welcoming to a ‘newbie’ and it was lovely to see and chat about the variety of projects underway. I would love to do it all again some time soon!

Once again I absolutely loved this retreat. Excellent company and great food in lovely accommodation. Yvonne thinks of everything to make this a wonderfully relaxing few days where we can sew to our heart’s content. I can’t wait til my next one!

I had a lovely time - met lots of really nice people, ate way too much yummy food (3 hearty meals each day and lots of cake), and did so much sewing! What a wonderful opportunity to make something from start to finish and not have to think about anything else or do any cooking. Yvonne and Kate were always on hand for help and advice which was great. I had thought there would likely be a mini workshop or talk about something sewing related, as read this had been part of previous retreats. It would have been a nice break from my own sewing project, especially given the foggy, wet weather as no-one felt like sitting outside or going for a walk - it was still such a lovely time and I will definitely book again.
