Difficult to put in words what this experience was... Probably best described as one of the most wonderful days of our lives! Simply a must do, this day alone was worth all the trip from Europe to Patagonia! Deeply grateful to the whole Solo Expediciones team!

+ The wildlife was beautiful and the crew did a good job naivating and rotating the boat that everyone got good views on the whales and sea lions. The crew was friendly and motivated. - The organisation was bellow average. We had to be there at 4 a.m. just to wait about 20-30min until we could board the bus. The food on the ship was very average for the price of the tour, with a lot of sweets and biscuits and all served in bags which were thrown away right after receiving the food. The trip duration was listed with about 10h, our trip took from 4 a.m. until after 6 p.m. (more than 14h!).

We had a great trip. The bus arrived 30 min late, but we did the whole itinerary. The guide was great; he shared a lot of interesting information about what we were seeing and visiting. He was very patient and nice with everybody. The guy in the boat was very polite and nice, offering hot beverages.

Our experience with Solo Expediciones was wonderful from start to finish. We sailed to Isla Magdalena and isla Marta to see penguins and sea lions. The ship sailed on time; it was modern, comfortable, and clean. The staff was kind and knowledgable. The trip to Isla Magdalena was short—about 40 minutes. Once there, we disembarked and walked around the island, divided into smaller groups of people, for about an hour. The island is pristine and, by the time we visited in early January, about 3,000 penguins were in the island, as well as other native birds. We were, at all times, accompanied by Solo’s tour guides who shared their experience and knowledge about the region. After this island visit, we sailed to isla Marta to observe a sea lion colony; we watched them from the boat. On the way to the island, we were surprised by a couple of Magellan Dolphins swimming next to us and doing tricks. It was an unforgettable experience. After about 15-20 minutes in isla Marta, we sailed back another 40 minutes to the dock. Again, the experience was pleasant and we enjoyed complementary coffee, cocoa, water, and cookies. We cannot recommend the experience enough; we will be back and plan to do whale watching next time!

It was great ! It was magical to see the whales so close. The glacier is also magnificent. The team was very friendly and the explanations were very clear — a fantastic experience!
