A long day, but beautiful and very remote travels in the Magellan straits. Lots of wildlife, seals, sea lions, penguins and lots of whales. Very well done, and whilst not cheap, was definitely worth the cost

Traveling to Magdelena Island is a visit of a Lifetime. SE provides a very good service but the small boat size is definitely not the best choice for this tour. Guest number admitted needs to be less. There is no place for guests to wait in line for the bathroom & many guests got seasick from the chop of the water. It was too crowded to view the sea lions. Sadly, I give this tour a B-

We had an amazing time and were treated so well by the whole staff at Solo Expediciones. We needed a later sail time to accommodate the arrival of our cruise ship. The staff at Solo Expediciones made it happen and everyone from our cruise had an amazing time! The weather was perfect, the penguins came out to shine and the boat driver and his staff made everyone fill safe yet still allowed the group to have fun while on the boat the Magdalena Island. Thank you to all at Solo Expediciones for a wonderful day!!

The tour was great! There were loads of penguins everywhere. We had initially booked on a tour which was then cancelled due to bad weather (the Chilean authorities had closed the waters around Punta Arenas) and Solo Expediciones offered us to reschedule on the following day, to take a different tour on the same day or to ask for a full refund. We only wish that the time on the island was longer but all tours are one hour long so that's not something they can change.
