Immerse yourself in your writing on an Irish Retreat. We’ll live like locals in the countryside and get inspiration from the sights and sounds of this ancient place.
We’ll have both full-day and morning writing workshops, and three full days exploring the beauty of Ireland with additional afternoon only trips.
Our lodging is provided by a cozy family-run country hotel for the first 7 nights, and the final night is in a Dublin luxury Castle hotel.
The included amenities in this Irish Writing Retreat compare to none other, and the outings were specifically chosen to immerse you in beauty for your writing life. We will have time to meander, explore, and write at each site we visit.
March 10th is the deposit date for this tour but if you sign up and pay your deposit by Jan 31st you get $100 off.
So once you book your spot we will then change your payment plan to reflect the discount.
Christina Dreve: Writing Coach
Christina believes writing is more a decision than a skill. When you understand how a writer thinks, you can practice and experiment, rather than judge your own writing.
She provides support and encouragement for aspiring authors; bringing them from idea phase to becoming the writer they’ve dreamed of being. She’s a writing coach and author of 7 books, and still writing for herself and her ghostwriting clients.
Secret Ireland Tours are committed to doing everything possible to keep our clients safe while on tour with us in Ireland. As many know we rescheduled all of our 2020 tours to 2021 and we are keeping in close contact with the health Department in Ireland. All of the venue's and hotels we use have completed a Safety Charter course which allowed them to open to the public. We will not visit any site or stay in any hotel that has not completed this course. It was created by the tourist board in Ireland. We will do everything in our power to keep everybody safe.
We believe that this tour that was rescheduled will go ahead but we will keep a close eye on the conditions and if we need to reschedule again, we will do so in consultation with you our clients.
This is for a couple sharing a bed.
This is for double occupancy with two beds per room.
This is for the person who does not want to share. Hotels sell rooms for double occupancy so they add on a supplement to the single traveler.
One of Europes great Seminary Churches is part of Maynooth College. This is our first stop after we pick you up at terminal 2 Dublin airport at 9am on the first morning of the first day of your tour. There you will see amazing wood carved pews depicting all the flora, fauna, animals, fish and bird found in Ireland. An amazing alter and artwork on walls and ceilings that is just breath-taking.
We then make our way to the North West where we visit Lough Key Forest Park. We can sit and relax by the shores of this beautiful lake and see the 11th century castle that sits on its own Island. We can take walks over Faery bridges, sit on wishing chairs, walk into the magic tree. See the bog garden, walk through the tunnels and take a canopy walk through the trees.
We then make our way to our accommodations. Cawleys Hotel
We stay here for 7 nights. You will feel like home away from home.
