We had the absolute perfect trip to the Galapagos Islands, thanks to Galapagos Alternative. This is probably the first trip we have every taken where I can say that absolutely nothing went wrong-- it was perfection from start to finish. They made sure every detail of this major adventure was handled. We always knew the plans, how to get to the next stop, and had our local concierge there and available for every question we had. We loved the land-based tour and are already planning our next adventure with Galapagos Alternative. We had the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for our family of five including three children ages 11, 9 and 7. Do not hesitate in booking with Galapagos Alternative- they are the best!

Galapagos Alternative is a fabulous tour agency. The staff listened carefully to what we wanted to do and see and to our concerns (especially sea sickness) and they put together a terrific set of tours for us, with excellent hotels. Both while in the process of putting the trip together and during the trip, they responded quickly and completely to questions and offered very helpful suggestions. Someone from GA met us when we arrived, took care of the entire entry process while we waited in a VIP lounge, drove us between each airport and hotel (as we flew between islands and had a different hotel on each island), checked in with us a couple of times each day via WhatsApp and in person or via WhatsApp every night, got us snorkel equipment on each island to use during our free time, and generally made sure that everything went incredibly smoothly and we had a great trip. We generally plan our own trips, but the Galapagos Islands are complicated and have a lot of regulations you need to follow, -- we''re so glad we went with Galapagos Alternative as their 20 years of travel experience on the Galapagos really showed. We highly recommend them!

it has been a great visit to Galapagos and we appriciate your organisation. Planning of trips, choice of hotel and timing we great, local support from Chris excellent. We also used her to add another halfday trip to the breeding center for the land turtles and a visit to the lagoon of the vulcano. I reccommend to always propose that to customers when their plane is leaving after 1 pm as it makes good use of the time on the island and is worth doing.
