I had an amazing time undertaking the Maya language immersion program at Na'atik. The experience exceeded all my expectations and gave me a truly authentic insight into Maya culture and daily life. My Maya language teacher was fantastic: patient, encouraging, and always supportive. The classes were engaging and helped me build my confidence throughout the week. Staying with a local host family was one of the highlights of the experience. They were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like part of the family. The accommodation was comfortable and lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious. In addition to the language classes, I had the opportunity to visit a beautiful cenote and take a traditional tortilla-making class. These activities enriched my understanding of the culture and made the experience even more memorable. I left with a deeper appreciation of Maya language and culture, wonderful memories, and new friendships. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a meaningful cultural and language immersion experience.

I had a fantastic time in Felipe Carillo Port l. I met great people that I can now call friends. More than anything, the opportunity to live with a host family was invaluable and memorable. The only problem was trying to get around and the fast pace of the program. At times, there was a little bit of confusion when it came to communicating about events and the such. However, I learned a lot, and this was truly a wonderful experience.

My granddaughter and I really enjoyed our time with Na'atik and with the family we stayed with. The staff are all wonderful, helpful and supportive, and we like the fact that our attendance at the school helps local kids learn a skill to broaden their future prospects.

This was my 4th time at Na’tik. The classes with Pedro are always fun, interesting and challenging. The staff are friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my time dt Na’tik.
