Hi Pete, I wanted to reach out personally after seeing your review regarding the airport transfer. First of all, I’m very sorry about the delay. We had no knowledge that there had been an issue with your pickup until we saw your review, so we immediately contacted the driver to understand what had happened. We learned that, while he was on his way to the airport, his vehicle unexpectedly failed to start. He arranged for another driver to pick you up so that the transfer could still take place. Unfortunately, he did not inform us about the situation or the change of driver at the time. I want to be clear that I’m not sharing this as an excuse or to shift responsibility to the driver. You booked the transportation through Oropopo, and therefore it was our responsibility to make sure the service went as planned and that you were properly informed if anything changed. Had we known what was happening, we could have communicated with you immediately and helped manage the situation. We are addressing this internally with our transportation provider so that any unexpected delay, vehicle issue, or driver change is reported to us immediately in the future. I also want to thank you for mentioning it in your review. Without your feedback, we would not have known that this had happened, and it gave us the opportunity to identify something in our process that needed to be corrected.
