This was such a great trip. A group of strangers bonded together to have a wonderful adventure, to see new and exciting things, eat great (if too much) food and still have time to relax/read/nap. For once I came home from vacation and didn't need a vacation to recuperate! This is the perfect kind of travel so I don't have to do any of the stressful planning, I know exactly what I will get, and I can just enjoy - or go off on my own and do something unexpected. I will do more of this~ Leave it up to Kayla and you will have a GREAT time.

Such a lovely getaway with amazing women! The Inn was cozy, the food and wine delicious and the Maine coast and fall foliage were spectacular. Kayla was so friendly and flexible. Would definitely book with Slow Travel again. In fact, I have already booked 2 more trips 😁

This was a much needed break from the stress of life. It was fantastic to have someone else in charge of planning and logistics - all I had to do was pack and show up. Activities were amazing and no pressure to participate in anything. Food was wonderful, accommodations were charming and the other travelers were warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend and would do it again. Doing something like this was a first for me and I’m so glad I did it.

The Slow Travel Retret to Bar Harbor Maine was fantastic. Kayla was our leader. She was well organized ,very responsive and made sure that all details were covered. The group was delightful and we had a fun time. We enjoyed our walking tour of Bar Harbor ,the tour of Acadia Park and shopping. Even though , we weren’t able to go whale watching(weather) ,Kayla adjusted our plans and we had a fun day wine tasting, visiting antique and book stores…We also made a special visit to MOMO ‘s cheesecakes!The food was great and I especially loved the breakfasts… I would not hesitate to travel again with Slow Travel. Bar Harbor was a great place to visit ! I especially loved the camaraderie of my fellow travelers- it was priceless !

The trip to Bar Harbor was a 10 out of 10 “bar none”. I came home exhilarated from the experience of seeing the fall colors, making new friends and enjoying amazing food and kinship over books. The only sad part is that they are going to become so popular I may not be ableto get into the next one! Highly recommend!
