The journey begins at “El Puente' 10h00, the main access to the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve and our last stop with the civilization. We continue in a motorized canoe downstream for about 2 hours until we reach the Nicky Amazon Lodge. With a little luck we’ll be able to observe the first
monkey and bird species along the way. The Cuyabeno river is extremely narrow in this region andallows you to experience wildlife up close. A welcome cocktail &nbsp;for your arrival at the lodge.
Later you will have time to rest and go on your first exploratory activity in the surrounding area. After dinner, we’ll explore the lodge's surroundings to look for nocturnal animals such as insects, spiders, snakes and frogs, a live which becomes active when the sun sets.

Day 1

3 days - 2 nights

Early in the morning we’ll explore the area looking for monkeys and birds in the awakening tropical rainforest. Return for Breakfast. After we’ll have an interesting &nbsp;activity we will visit our Indigenous Siona community to share their daily life in the Amazon Basin. we’ll have a demonstration on how to make ‘Cassave’, the typical manioc bread of the region. Additional we’ll learn about the local customs and traditions of their past and present culture. Return for the lunch.
In the afternoon we’ll travel by motorized canoe upstream to reach the Laguna Grande. As we explore the lagoon, we’ll learn about the 'Igapó', the ecosystem of the flooded forest and dominated by giant macrolobium trees which provide habitat for epiphytes and some species of birds such as cormorants. After exploring the lagoon, we can swim in the calm waters while watching the spectacular sunset of the Amazon region.
Later we’ll continue our adventure observing the nocturnal fauna of the river landscape with some species of bats and looking for caimans before returning to the lodge. Dinner.

Day 2 

Optional morning excursion includes a short trip by canoe, taking advantage of the early morning hours we’ll observe the animals during your morning activities and to say goodbye to the jungle keeping in our minds the best pictures of the spectacular place. After breakfast 07h30 at the lodge you will have time to pack your luggage for the return journey at 08hh00. We provide a box lunch for the trip. The ride takes you upstream back to the civilization at 'El Puente de Cuyabeno at 10h00.
Where a tourist bus will take you back to directly to Quito or maybe you want to catch a public bus back to Lago Agrio at approximately 13h00h and from there you will return to Quito&nbsp;

Day 3

DAY 1

4 days - 3 nights

Early in the morning we’ll explore the area looking for monkeys and birds in the awakening tropical rainforest. Return for Breakfast. Some time to relax before we’ll walk through the rainforest and our guide will share all his knowledge and experiences. We’ll learn how the most diverse life forms can coexist in the nature and survive side by side within a delicate balance. We may spot colorful butterflies,
frogs and listen some birds as we learn more about the great variety of flora.
Return to the lodge for lunch. After we have short time to rest enjoying the nature, swimming, play soccer or just a pleasant nap.
In the afternoon we’ll take a trip by paddle canoe down the Cuyabeno River taking us through the dense jungle landscape. We’ll observe the wildlife found on the riverbanks, including monkeys, macaws, toucans and sloths. We’ll have a good chance to see the pink river dolphins in the impressive river
landscape. After dinner, we’ll explore the lodge's surroundings to look for nocturnal animals such as insects, spiders, snakes and frogs, a live which becomes active when the sun sets.

DAY 2

In the morning we’ll have the opportunity for an additional excursion, either in our canoe or hiking. The choice depends on the weather conditions and the interests of the group. After breakfast, we will explore a pristine stretch of the jungle. Our guide will tell you more about the medicinal use of the flora as it has been used by native cultures for generations and how they could survive into the jungle. At lunch time, we return to the lodge for a rest. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Cuyabeno River paddling by canoe and enjoy the views of the exceptional scenery and listen to the sounds of the jungle as we look for exotic local species. Really an amazing activity.

DAY 5

Tourist transportation - shuttle: There is a tourist transport service that leaves 1 day before from Quito at the Blue House Hostel (Mariscal) at 23h00 and goes directly to the Cuyabeno Bridge. On the way back, the bus leaves from the Cuyabeno Bridge at 11h00 and arrives in Quito at 20h00 approx. We can help you with the purchase of the tkts bus.&nbsp;

After early breakfast, we leave the lodge to experience an amazing view of the rainforest from a 36m. tallcanopy tower, a great way to see the life above the ground of the forest.This is the second tower at the Napo Wildlife Center (the first is attached to the dining hall and allows greatviews of the lake). The tower is located about 30 minutes from the lodge deep within the terra firme forest.As you ascend the 12-floor tower, you pass through different levels of the forest and emerge on top of ahuge Ceiba tree.Here you cross onto a wooden platform that is actually built into the tree and experience the view formerlyreserved only for the birds. The metal tower itself was constructed to the highest standards, galvanized, andcarefully inspected by engineers. Safety is the priority. The platform at the top of the tree was constructed bytree platform specialists as well. From top to bottom, there is no finer canopy experience in Eastern Ecuador.
Flocks of colorful tanagers pass right through thecanopy of the tree, Blue-and yellow Macaws fly past,in nearby tres Spider Monkeys search for fruit, twospecies of large toucans call in the early morningsand afternoons, and the life of the forest canopyopens before you. This day we will travel to Pañacocha Lagoon, across the Napo River. Here, we will camp on spacious and comfortable tents, always maintaining a personalized service for our guests.
No question! A unique and unforgettable experience. We will leave the Napo Wildlife Center in the morning, sailing the marvelous Creek, where there is always magic on every corner. At the entrance to Pañacocha, after around 90 minutes, we will already observe animals of this side of the Amazon Rainforest. &nbsp;
Once on site, we will receive an induction about this area and have lunch. Then, it’s time to go for a swim in the marvelous lagoon In &nbsp;his area you will see the Igapó Forest, with chances to see Macaws,
Sloths, Squirrel Monkeys, Black - mantled tamarins, Capuchin monkeys, Anacondas and a lot more!!
Flora you would see here include the Coral Tree, Palm Tree and others!! Sailing through this wet land, with chances to see Black Caimans and different species of Birds.
After a delicious dinner, prepared by one of our Chefs, walk through the Forest trails at night time, discovering how life continues in the Rainforest at this time.

After landing, a short 5 minute drive to the port in the Napo River will take you onto a comfortable covered motor boat. Here we start a boat ride along the Napo for approximately 2 hours. Some birds can be spotted on the way.
After arriving at Napo Wildlife Center’s welcoming area, we take a magical and peaceful 2 hour dugout-canoe along a narrow creek that connects to the lake where the lodge is located. Great chances to spot wildlife, various species of monkeys as well as large birds like toucans, parrots or even macaws.
Late afternoon arrival at the lodge&nbsp;

6 days - 5 nights

After a buffet breakfast, experience the life above the forest floor visiting the 36-meter canopy tower. This tower is located about 30 minutes from the lodge deep within the forest.
Get a very good sample of the 567 species recorded so far, with a close look at colorful tanagers, macaws, toucans, flycatchers and even Spider or Howler Monkeys feeding themselves on the nearby trees. The canopy tower opens a whole new world to the guests of the Napo Wildlife Center.
Return to the lodge for a typical Ecuadorian lunch. After lunch there are many options to choose from before you start the afternoon activity: climb the central tower for birdwatching, or just relax in your hammock.

Today we will walk the "guangana" trail, where we will reach 250 meters above sea level (high difficulty). This trail combines flooded and dry forest, swamps and biodiversity of plant species, offering another exciting experience inside the Ecuadorian Amazon. On this location named after white collared peccaries "guanganas" we will try to find this unique mammals that inhabit this place.
It is also likely to find jaguar and wild cat footpaths. During this hike, our local guide will explain about tropical rainforest ecosystems.
In the afternoon we will navigate the Añangucocha lagoon and its adjacent stream, called "cariañangu".
Throughout this tour we will appreciate the flora that surrounds this path, home of howler and spider monkeys, giant otters and many other species.

This day we will travel to “Tiputini” river, crossing through Amazon primary forest where we will camp inside the jungle in spacious and comfortable tents, always maintaining a personalized service for our guests. No question! A unique and unforgettable experience. For this activity you have two options:
The first is to enjoy a walk along the ”Tiputini” path inside the rain forest, where we will find creeks and swamps, searching for golden-mantled tamarins, capuchin and squirrel monkeys, 2 &amp; 3 finger sloths; and other mammals. This walk lasts for about 7 hours (high-medium difficulty). The second option is to navigate the Napo River until we reach “Pompeya” town, the trip lasts approximately 1 hour. Afterwards we will take a car and drive for approximately 1h30, until we get to “Tiputini” river. Once we get there, our staff will be waiting for us, to make a motor canoe ride heading to Añangu territory – 20 minutes.
After a short walk close to the camp, our staff will serve you a delicious meal, then you will have the opportunity with our tour guides the best kayak paddling experience providing both serenity and adventure in Tiputini River with the opportunity y to observe pink dolphins and finally we ends with a refreshing dip in the river of the Amazon jungle.
At the end of the day, we will go back to the camp for dinner. In the evening you will have the opportunity to enjoy the jungle from another perspective, with its wonderful night sounds and the possibility to see different nocturnal species such as insects, reptiles and amphibians.

&nbsp;After landing, a short 5 minute drive to the port in the Napo River will take you onto a comfortable covered motor boat. Here we start a boat ride along the Napo for approximately 2 hours. Some birds can be spotted on the way.
After arriving at Napo Wildlife Center’s welcoming area, we take a magical and peaceful 2 hour dugout-canoe along a narrow creek that connects to the lake where the lodge is located. Great chances to spot wildlife, various species of monkeys as well as large birds like toucans, parrots or even macaws.
Late afternoon arrival at the lodge&nbsp;

7 days - 6 nights

&nbsp;After a buffet breakfast, experience the life above the forest floor visiting the 36-meter canopy tower. This tower is located about 30 minutes from the lodge deep within the forest.
Get a very good sample of the 567 species recorded so far, with a close look at colorful tanagers, macaws, toucans, flycatchers and even Spider or Howler Monkeys feeding themselves on the nearby trees. The canopy tower opens a whole new world to the guests of the Napo Wildlife Center.
Return to the lodge for a typical Ecuadorian lunch. After lunch there are many options to choose from before you start the afternoon activity: climb the central tower for birdwatching, or just relax in your hammock.
In the afternoon, hike through a marvelous terra- firme forest to discover the ecology and the role of plants in the complex world of the Tropical Rain-Forest: vines, ancient trees, bromeliads, orchids stand out in this impressive natural garden. After the hike, explore the surrounding creeks with possibilities of running into a Giant otter family.
A delicious dinner awaits for you at 7:30pm

&nbsp;Early wake up to reach the easiest access parrot clay licks in Ecuador, about 1 hour away from the lodge, guests reach there just before parrot activity kicks off at the clay lick between 7:30 to 8:30. A total of 11 species of parrots, parakeets and macaws can be seen.
Later, hike along forest trail to visit the Kichwa Interpretation center “Kuri Muyu" handled by the women of the community also knows as “mamakuna” learn about the kichwa culture, crafts, customs and traditional use of natural resources.
Return to the creek and hike through a Terra Firme Forest for about 30 minutes until we arrive to the second parrot clay lick where if the weather conditions help will be able to find different species of parrots, parakeets and even macaws.
Lunch. You will be paddled back to the lodge, where you arrive at late afternoon with a delicious dinner awaiting for you.

DAY 3

This day we will visit the "Kichwa Añangu Community" where we will have the opportunity to interact with local people and learn about their culture and lifestyle.
We will also visit the school and common areas, as well as one of their homes, where a Kichwa family will host and tell us about their culture and traditions.
Additionally we learn how the Community has developed in recent years, improving education and health.
Lunch will be served at Napo Cultural Center.
In the afternoon we will walk to the observation tower, 40 meters high, located a few meters away from the lodge.
In this location we could spot different species of birds from the
mainland.
Finally we will walk to our second observation tower located in “Kury Muyo” south of the Community and very close to Napo River, where we could spot birds that live near the river and the beach ecosystems.
Arrival to the hotel for dinner

&nbsp;Today we will walk the "guangana" trail, where we will reach 250 meters above sea level (high difficulty). This trail combines flooded and dry forest, swamps and biodiversity of plant species, offering another exciting experience inside the Ecuadorian Amazon. On this location named after white collared peccaries "guanganas" we will try to find this unique mammals that inhabit this place.
It is also likely to find jaguar and wild cat footpaths. During this hike, our local guide will explain about tropical rainforest ecosystems.
In the afternoon we will navigate the Añangucocha lagoon and its adjacent stream, called "cariañangu".
Throughout this tour we will appreciate the flora that surrounds this path, home of howler and spider monkeys, giant otters and many other species.

This day we will travel to Pañacocha Lagoon, across the Napo River. Here, we will camp on spacious and comfortable tents, always maintaining a personalized service for our guests. No question! A unique and unforgettable experience.
We will leave the Napo Wildlife Center in the morning, sailing the marvelous Creek, where there is always magic on every corner. At the entrance to Pañacocha, after around 90 minutes, we will already observe animals of this side of the Amazon Rainforest.
Once on site, we will receive an induction about this area and have lunch. Then, it’s time to go for a swim in the marvelous lagoon!!
n this area you will see the Igapó Forest, with chances to see Macaws, Sloths, Squirrel Monkeys, Black - mantled tamarins, Capuchin monkeys, Anacondas and a lot more!! Flora you would see here include the Coral Tree, Palm Tree and others!! Sailing through this wet land, with chances to see Black Caimans and different species of Birds.
After a delicious dinner, prepared by one of our Chefs, walk through the Forest trails at night time, discovering how life continues in the Rainforest at this time.
