I cannot put into words how wonderful the trip to Ireland we just returned from was, and I highly recommend Secret Ireland Tours. Mai was great to work with in the time leading up to our trip; she was sure to provide us all the important information that we would need to prepare for our trip, without wasting our time with useless information or too many Zoom calls that feel unhelpful or confusing, as we had experienced with another tour company in the past. I will always recommend events and trips with our ambassador, Aaron Sagers; when you travel with Aaron, you are always in for a great time. And I can't say enough about our Irish tour guide, Adrian; not only does he know so much about Ireland's folklore and history that he wants to share, but he is also just a wonderful person with whom we all had a genuine connection and now feels like a family member. Thank you, Ado, we appreciate you so much. Our tour bus driver, Ronan, was just lovely; he kept us safe, got us where we needed to go, and shared lots of laughs with us as well. We experienced a truly unforgettable 9 days in Ireland thanks to Mai, Adrian, Aaron, and Ronan. Everything seemed to operate quite smoothly (which I am sure Adrian was a big part of), and after taking another spooky tour overseas in the past that did not go as well, it was much appreciated how seamless this tour was. We never had to worry about a lack of communication, itinerary changes, or that anyone would be left behind. The structure of the tour allowed us some later morning starts as well as time every day to experience the location that we were staying in; to explore the town, and to see and do what the locals do. This was a big selling point of this tour for us, to not feel rushed every day and to have time to soak it all in. We also stayed at great hotels, which were at the least nice (as well as clean), but we even had a surprise stay in the most gorgeous castle rooms one night of our tour! We appreciated the smaller size of our tour group (18 folks, not counting Adrian, Aaron, and Ronan), which allowed for a more personal connection with our guides, as well as with each other. By the end of the tour, we all felt like family, and it was quite an emotional goodbye, which, in part, I think was likely due to the smaller group size, which allowed us to get to know each other. It also didn't feel like you were just a number, as it can feel with a larger tour group. Every single person on the tour felt important, included, and a part of the group. The itinerary was clear from day one when we signed up for this tour, and we were fortunate that there were no changes to our itinerary (likely due to thoughtful and good planning on Mai and Adrian's part), and instead, any changes to our itinerary were just enhancements or bonus surprises. It is good to know that you are going to get what you pay for with one of these types of tours. Adrian brought us not only to some well-known tourist locations but also to some off-the-beaten-path locations, making our tour feel more personalized and special. I am so grateful that I was finally able to experience the beauty of Ireland and its people, and I already can not wait to return. I am grateful that we went on this tour with Aaron and Secret Ireland Tours, and we would love to attend another in the future. I will never forget this trip and the special connections that we made with so many while experiencing this beautiful country.
"Ireland Unseen: Myths, Ghosts & Hidden Gems" with Aaron Sagers
Hi Thomas, Thank you so much for your kind words. It is always great when we get feedback like this and know that you had a great time and you want to return to Ireland. She is a great little country, and I am blessed with having Adrian on board with me. I am blessed with great tour guides, but Adrian is out on his own, with his knowledge of folklore, history and love of Ireland is amazing. Aaron enjoyed the tour and I am delighted about that. But to see the group becoming great friends and wanting to go over to Ireland is what my company is all about. I could insist on bigger numbers, but I prefer to have smaller groups because that way everybody gets to know each other, and it makes for a better tour and experience. Thank you for trusting us, especially after having a bad experience with that other company. I am planning a trip to the South of Ireland and have asked Aaron if he would like to be the ambassador and he is excited to do it all again with us. So I will keep the group informed about how that is going, but we are thinking it will be May of next year. So keep an eye out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars for Secret Ireland Tours LLC I cannot say enough amazing things about Secret Ireland Tours LLC and the unforgettable 11-day experience they created for us throughout Ireland. From the moment the trip began, it was obvious how much thought, care, and passion went into every single detail. Mai Hernan, an Ireland native now living in the U.S., along with Aaron Sagers and our incredible tour guide Adrian O'Neil, created something truly special. This was not your typical tourist trip. They took us beyond the usual attractions and introduced us to the hidden side of Ireland — breathtaking landscapes, historic sites, haunted locations, local legends, myths, and places most travelers would never discover on their own. We stayed in beautiful castles, visited surprise locations throughout the tour, and experienced authentic Ireland through local storytellers, musicians, artists, and the wonderful people we met along the way. One of my favorite parts of the trip was how much the tour focused on supporting local businesses, artists, and communities. It made the experience feel genuine, personal, and deeply connected to Ireland itself. The small group size made a huge difference as well. There were only 21 people total, including Aaron, Adrian, and our fantastic driver Ronan, which made the experience comfortable, relaxed, and incredibly enjoyable. Everyone connected so well, and the atmosphere throughout the trip was welcoming and kind. Adrian was an outstanding guide with so much knowledge and passion for Ireland’s history and culture. Aaron brought his knowledge and experience, along with such a fun and engaging energy to the experience, and Ronan made us feel safe and comfortable every mile of the journey. For 11 days of lodging, breakfasts, welcome and departure meals, transportation, unforgettable experiences, and access to places many people never get to see, the value was incredible. I honestly felt like we received far more than what we paid for. This trip was magical, meaningful, and beautifully put together from beginning to end. If you want to experience the real Ireland — the hidden places, the stories, the history, the music, the people, and the heart of the country — I cannot recommend Secret Ireland Tours LLC enough. Thank you Mai, Aaron, Adrian, and Ronan for memories I will cherish forever.

Thank you, Kelley, for your review. It was my pleasure to create this tour for Aaron and his group. I love it when I see the groups come home and keep in contact and becoming life-long friends. That is the mission of my company. Friendships created and want to return to Ireland. I am delighted that you had a good time and you enjoyed all the places you visited. I knew that the group would love Kinnitty Castle and Conor the manager. He usually does a tour for me but there was a wedding that day and he was busy but fair play to him that he took time to chat with some of the group that night. I am blessed to have "Ado" as you all call him now, on my team and Ronan is a great guy too and great help. Aaron was great to work with and I was delighted that he had a good time and got to see parts of Ireland that he had not visited before. Thank you again. We are planning a South of Ireland tour and Aaron has agreed to be our ambassador again. Ado will be on board for that one and I will request Ronan again. Keep an eye out.

I had a great time on this trip. Ado, our guide, was full of stories and legends about the areas we were visiting. He was so organized and dedicated to be sure that we were all having a wonderful experience. Aaron added to the stories of folklore and hauntings that were a perfect complement to Ado’s. Too many highlights to choose from, but walking an alpaca will always be memorable, as will the trip to Inishmore. Such a fun group of people to travel with!

Thank you Kathy, I am delighted that you had a good time. I hope you will consider coming with us again next year. Ado spoke highly of you and he enjoyed your company very much.

I hate when people say this in a review, but this time, it’s true: there are no words. Mai and her team curated a wonderful 10-day trip to Ireland, hosted by the amazing Aaron Sagers. The thoughtful details and care were evident during the entire trip. I have been on tours with other paranormal companies, and they don’t come close to Secret Ireland tours. I was never afraid that our itinerary was going to be suddenly changed, that anyone in our group would be left behind, or there would be a lack of communication. Each stop was like stepping back in time; our guide, Adrien, was a seasoned storyteller who brought the stories of old Ireland to life. Each hotel had a special meaning that was woven into the tour. I will 100% be taking another tour with this company. Thank you, Mai, Adrien, and Aaron!

Ashley, Thank you for your review, I appreciate it very much. You were a great bunch of people and Adrian loves everyone that was on the tour. Ronan had a great time and you all made him feel like one of the family. I am very blessed to have great tour guides but Adrian is amazing. His knowledge of Ireland's history, myths, legends and folklore is up there with the best of them. He even knows more than me, and I know a lot. He loves Ireland as much as I do and Ronan is the same, so I am blessed to have them help me out. I am also honored to have Aaron as an ambassador and we are hoping to do it all again taking in the South of the country next May. So, get ready.

The trip was amazing. Mai Hernon is exactly the kind of person you want for your tour guide; communicative, consistent, compassionate, reliable, and someone who loves their job. She made sure everyone knew what to expect the next day, when to show up at the bus, and she made me feel taken care of when I fell ill. I'll always be grateful to her for her help, and for making this trip possible for me. Secret Ireland Tours LLC is the ideal company for the competent traveler.

Mai and her team at Secret Ireland Tours LLC, including our wonderful tour guide Adrien O’Neill, put so much thought and care into curating a special experience that made our trip truly unforgettable. We were able to meet with local authors and storytellers, have special visits to farms and locations that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to access. We even had a couple of amazing surprise locations that blew us away! I would recommend Secret Ireland Tours to anyone looking to take the trip of a lifetime.

I had the pleasure of Mai's company for an amazing 10-day tour "Ireland Unseen". From the first time we exchanged emails, I knew I was in experienced hands. Mai was, and continues to be, helpful, kind, and so very welcoming. All my questions were answered and she went out of her way to change some items without hesitation. And, although she wasn't able to travel with us, she kept daily contact and even made certain we met her sister! Her stand in, Adrian O'Neill, and our coach driver, Ronan, were both the best. Ado is very well studied about his country and didn't hesitate to tell us stories. Ronan was made a part of our little group immediately and he fit perfectly. I highly recommend Secrets of Ireland for your tour needs. We're already planning Round 2 for our group. Linda aka 18!
