This was my second retreat with Randelle, and it won’t be my last. I’ve been to a number of retreats before, including ones outside of Randelle and Rare Method, and the difference in quality and overall experience is huge. Randelle’s retreats are truly in a league of their own. The hotels, destinations, itineraries, movement, and inner work we do all come together to create a memorable experience. What I also really appreciate is the balance. There’s enough structure and intention throughout the retreat while still leaving plenty of free time to reflect and enjoy the day as you please. I’m already thinking about my third retreat with Rare Method!

What made this retreat special was its rhythm. Each day had a natural flow: quiet mornings, movement, thoughtful learning, excellent meals, time to read or reflect, and evenings that felt deeply peaceful. The setting itself created calm, but what surprised me most was how quickly genuine connection developed within the group. There was a real ease to the conversations and a sense of shared openness that made new friendships feel natural. The EQ-i component was especially valuable because it gave me a clearer lens on myself, not only personally, but professionally, as a psychologist and as someone growing into leadership in new ways. It was one of those experiences that gives you both rest and perspective at the same time, which is rare. :)

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Randelle is an incredible retreat leader. Every detail is thoughtful and intentional, nothing is overlooked. Communication, both leading up to and throughout, is seamless from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The Rare Method is approachable and meets you where you are, while still inviting you to explore your edges in a way that feels safe and supportive. I just got home and already can’t wait to return.

The Revival Retreat was an amazing experience! Everything was so well organized, from arrival to departure. The retreat itself was something that I will carry with me for a long time. The people I met and the experience we shared was life changing for me. Randelle has a very special way of connecting and teaching, and I am so grateful to have taken part. I look forward to booking another retreat in the near future!

The location was amazing along with the staff at Xinalani. The food was fresh; however, I would have liked to have a bit more variety from a protein point of view (chicken and fish isn’t what I expected for the cost of the retreat). I enjoyed the somatic yoga classes as well as the inner work that was done re: limiting beliefs and how emotion shows up in the body. I did expect a bit more in terms of leader led late afternoon / early evening guided work (e.g., it would have been nice to have a sound bath, yoga nidra). All of the excursions were an additional cost to what I feel was an already expensive trip, especially being that payment was in USD.
